After the Beasley touchdown did everyone hear what he said?

He was trying to argue that Beasley's catch could be overruled and not be a touch down. And he tried to point out why.

I think he has some bias against the Cowboys. He just seems his calls seems to work against us.

He was explaining the rule to you, it was pretty clear on the interpretation..

It just shows you how subjective NFL officiating is. They could have called it either way and then gone on to justify the call.

I know its likely not a popular view, but instant review has eroded the excitement of the game. They have over-tweaked it to the point of retardation. And now, instead of being able to have the instant emotional reactions to what we fans clearly see on the field, we have to wait with bated response while every single potentially game-changing moment is reviewed and reviewed, only to have the human contribution of the incompetent refs screw it up anyways.

Let's just go back to the time when they got one wrong every once and awhile. At least they weren't insulting our intelligence by pretending to get it right.

While I believe the Dez play was an actual catch because Dez has an unnatural ability to lunge for the end zone after quickly establishing control, Beasleys catch was different in that he didn't go to the ground while in the process of making the catch. He already established control and ran with the ball before lunging towards the end zone. He didn't fall to the ground while in the act of making the catch. He went to the ground intentionally after making the catch.

While Dez had the same intent and his catch was a catch I can see the difference.
That is the way I saw it. Beasley made the catch ran the ball and broke the plane of the goal line, TD play over.

He is a good example of the mind set of the refs and the attitudes. It's no surprise that they get so many call wrong.

The refs union protects them. Without the union, the NFL would likely cycle through them at a much higher rate.

NFL refs have a huge sense of entitlement. They could have played football on a Wade Philliips team...or maybe they can get their own little slogan like "Put up the X"...

I fear the day will come when every questionable call will go to a 3 man panel in New York will they decide if its "a catch" or not.

I can see it now, Dez catches another pass and the refs rule touchdown. Then each of the 3 man panel throws up the "X" which means DENIED. The call is then reversed while they do a celebration dance in the booth.

Dark days are coming folks. Dark days indeed!!
