I hate the Eagles

Hunting is a business.. that's why its legal. States make good business selling guns and ammo, so they in turn give a percentage of the taxes made from selling these weapons to wildlife agencies to keep populations high of animals that hunters go after in recreation, although they are allowed to spend these monies on any species if they have enough funds.. guess that makes it ok.

I think this thread has worn out its welcome.. about 3 days ago actually ha.. and it'd be in the best interest of the board to just move on i think. There are certainly more relevant topics to discuss with the Eagles game being just a couple days away, and i appriciate those who took the time to discuss this in a rational manner.

BTW, dogfighting is a business too....doesn't make it legal. I'm thinking somewhere along the line, someone may have noticed a deference between the two "sports".

Yes.. because all bullets are kill shots on animals being hunted. Please.

Animals that hunters prey on suffer.. Vicks pit bulls suffered. Unless one thinks that its perfectly ok for an animal to suffer up to an abitrary level, yet not ok at all to suffer past said arbitrary level.. then both are wrong imo because they both needlessly make innocent animals suffer for sport, or our personal self interest and enjoyment. The end.

If you think that the government is putting money into wildlife development to sustain deer populations for hunting...then I won't need any validation to tell me I'm right. You're ignorance on the subject is clear enough for everyone to see.

As far as wearing out its welcome.....you seem to be the major antagonist predominant in every thread that mentions Vick...even those that had nothing to do with this subject until you participated in it. Funny how that works....

How come you have ignored the points about over population and the resulting SUFFERING of the wildlife that results? Seen it with my own eyes.

You do understand that all the natural predators that used to be the checks and balances no longer exist in most of the country, right?

Are you saying that if left unchecked wildlife populations would self regulate in a manner that causes less suffering than a well placed bullet?

I have worked with wildlife conservation on the local and state levels for 30 years and you are wrong about too many things to list. You have used the term " ignorant" in describing any poster that does not agree with views . The term should not be used unless you are sure who you are talking to. Some of these posters have made very valid posts. I hate the Eagles.

Then speak to me about the PR Act and why it exists.. from everything i read it filters portions of taxes from gun and ammunition sales back to wildlife agencies to "restore" populations of animals that are normally hunted in this country. Anyone who ever finds out that I'm a Cowboys fan almost has that look that if they were serving me food they would spit in it first.

Oh, also something that came up the other day. I hate that people are putting DeSean Jackson in the HOF already. I HATE that everyone thinks that Celek is their own brand of Witten. Please. Jackson is a little punk that only runs deep and catches bombs. He really doesn't do anything outside of that. IMO, Maclin will be a better receiver than Jackson in the long run. And as for Celek, I witnessed with my own eyes him dropping a crucial TD pass against the Bears last week, so I don't wanna hear about how he's on the same level as Witten.

Agreed. I just said the same thing in another thread but i already feel that Maclin is the better receiver. He just has a better game, an all around game, that Jackson will just never have. Guy is a punk, nothing more. Hasn't done much of anything at all in recent games he's played this season.
