Chocking the Chicken is what Romo does best. Yet another stellar example of what he is capable of. Philadelphia winning only puts salt on this loss.

Like I always tell my friends. This team has a way of making the opposing team's fans' dreams come true. Wish it and the Cowboys will make it a reality. Wow.

what Romo messes up most on is his timing. he isn't managing the game well. when you are down there and up by 7 you need a minimum of 3 to put the game at two scores.

he does this all the time.

:lmao: @ Romo Homers. The guy made 2 big mistakes. Of course other stuff happened but he made 2 big mistakes that directly hurt the team. He's a veteran, he should know better but he doesn't and he won't. He's got the football IQ of a squirrel. Probably had visions of being John Elway in the Super Bowl and making a diving play at the goal line and then on the INT, probably had visions of being Favre and gunslinging his way to a W

You just described choke .. and then denied it..wow

Tomorrow I will still be a Cowboys fan, I will cheer for Romo and I will cheer for all the Boyz, we weren't going 16 - 0 so, it may as well have been the first game we lose. I did see some exciting stuff from both sides of the ball. Injuries happen and they killed us today when our corners and best reciever went down.

We will play another day.

let's trade Romo down here for Henne. Yea, that's it. He'll be reunited with Tony and complete the Cowboys circle.

Let's go with Henne, tank the season, and then draft Luck, since EVERYBODY knows he's the next hall of famer/superbowl winning QB in waiting and he never " chokes "..

Some of you people DESERVE Clint Stoerner, and Anthony Wright, and Ryan Leaf, and Quincy Carter, and a washed up Randall Cunningham.

I've never been a Romo hater, but I have to admit that he played SO well...until he suddenly didn't. If he had just settled for 3 instead of trying to run it in, we would likely have won.

And that pick toward Dez...I don't care how much Dez is "supposed" to have turned around. He was looking at him the whole time and Dez CLEARLY was not even CLOSE to being open. He should never have thrown that pass.

And, WHOOOOO, was Rob Ryan hot at the end of the game.

I try to avoid hating people altogether. I would never "hate" someone over something trivial as a football game.

But his game-costing mistakes are beyond tedious at this point. They're sucking the fun right out of the game.

Romo is only part of the problem, though. This team has been seeped in culture of mediocrity and underachieving over the past decade -- well before Romo arrived -- and the only common denominator over that period has been ownership. And, as many posters on this board are wont to point, that's not changing any time soon.

So the culture of this team isn't likely to change anytime soon either, despite the herculean effort of Jason Garrett, who is a fine coach, in my opinion. We could very well be headed to a Detroit Lion-esque stretch of futility.

It will surely test our mettle as fans. Hate to be such a downer, but I have no comfort to offer tonight.

So the moral of the story is Romo can never turn the ball over, but ever other top QB can and it's okay.

No, its when he turns it over. Going in for a score to basically put the game away and he coughs it up. A chance to get in field goal range and he throws a ridiculous INT to set them up for a games winning field goal. If he throws that pick in the 2nd quarter, so be it. QBs throw INTs, but you can't do it then. Romo's problem he is tends to always make the mistake in the pressure moments. How are you ever going to win 3 or 4 playoff games with a guy like that at QB.

Why do the receivers never get blamed when they don't run the route correctly? That INT was all Dez.

Well maybe there's some fire to all the smoke that Lombardi was blowing about Dez's route running. Or maybe Dez's injuries were significantly hampering him. I don't really know enough to know whether he was running the wrong route or not.

However, Romo really should have known better than to throw that ball. There were two guys in the vicinity, Dez obviously wasn't himself, and the best corner in the game was roaming the area. Not a situation Romo should have put himself into, and it was a monumental mistake to say the least.

With all that being said, I'm still a full-fledged Romo supporter, and I don't really care how unpopular of an opinion that is tonight. Mistakes happen - a message that gets lost in the sport of football where every play is live or die but if you hang your entire opinion on one play here or there, you generally come out looking a little foolish.

IM HISPANIC YOU ******BAG!!! i was so proud of tony because he was one of us, but he is a disgrace to me and all hispanics that are his fans! the freaking sanchize is a better example!

Sanchez looked great on that clutch pick he threw to Ball. Of course Ball let it bounce off of his facemask so Sanchez is awesome. If we can run the ball in from the 2 we win. If we don't get a punt blocked, we win. Romo deserves som blame but he was a big reason we were ahead.

Lots to like in the game, but you don't throw that ball at Revis, that's the Brett Farve mentality. It keeps rearing it's ugly head.

The whole team cost us today. Romo with those two turnovers, Offensive line for not providing better protection and better holes for Felix, Special teams unit for that block punt, and the defense for not knowing their assignments. Only area we did well was the run defense. Lee and ware played a good game.
