ummm still you:laugh1:

Careful you'll be accused of covering up being wrong by picking on him.

Sadly I feel dirty making him look so foolish...kinda like playing one-on-one with a two year old.;)

what are you crazy? carpenter is going to be good you just need to give him some time to develop. the playoff game he was great in and it shows his potential. wr jones can stay with the jags we dont need him

blindzebra, it seems as which were not getting very far with this nor is it very mature by either one of us. You have your opinion and I have mine. I do beileve Jones on a better team would contribute and create mismatches all over the field for our recievers. You dont think he can beat a nickle DB one on one? Also, Im not saying you have to agree and Im not saying Im right, but I did watch the game thats the only point I was trying to make. Theres alot of Carp fans here and thats good. Beileve it or not Im just like you guys and hope he succeeds.

This trade was never going to happen anyway and I do so hate ever using the word 'never'. Additionally, this had nothing to do with who 'Carpenter fans liked best' and everything to do with projecting Dallas receiving better value out of the trade. To put it simply:

Carpenter @ linebacker > Jones @ wide receiver

It just doesn't add up. For the next trade scenario, let's use this equation:

Other team's player(s) who's team is r-e-c-e-p-t-i-v-e to surrender in a trade > our team's player(s)

I assure you, that trade scenario will get a more favorable reception (no pun intended). :)
