I have a sick gut feeling Cowboys are going to trade Barber

man i said this when the season ended, there is no way the cowboys can keep all these RB's on the roster but many people disagreed.....you watch either barber goes or choice goes I think Jones stays...but I think your right dude.

I feel the cowboys are goin to trade barber (eventually), reason being we have three good rb's on our hands and some teams don't have any decent rb's ( ravens, lions, and couple others). And with f.jones, and choice being as young and as good as they are jerry is not going to be willing to trade either away, i wish we can keep all three but 1's got to go eventually and i'm going to dread that day.

They've all got something going and they're cheap (Felix and even more so Choice), if anyone gets traded, it won't be for at least two more years.

Think Herschel Walker. If we can get anything close (somewhere in the ballpark..realizing the Herschel trade was an anomaly)to the value we got for Herschel then I will wish MB3 well and move on with additional value gained at current positions of need.

Those types of trades will never happen these days because of the salary cap.

Exactly. You have to look at whats best for the team, and if a team starts calling for Barber with an offer you can't refuse you have to take it.

We're not trading Barber anytime soon because of the massive contract, and signing bonus, they just gave him a year ago. Barber isn't going anywhere, anytime soon.

I agree. I do not see that happening this year because I don't think we could get great value for a player who by early indications could develop into a top RB.

I hope not, i love seeing that boy run. We have a really good group and a nice mixture of style at RB and i can't wait to see all of them get some touchs. I hope Garrett can figure out a way to get the most out of that group. They might just be our ticket to the big game.

I don't see Dallas doing it for at least 1 to 2 years but there will come a time as these players become FA and will look to other teams for a bigger role so if you know you will end up losing one down the line then chances are you will look to get something in return a year before they become URFA.

That makes sense, if all of them continue to play well we won't be able to hold onto all three more than a year or two. But that's just enough time to win a SB

Eventually it will come down to Barber or Choice, Felix just has unique abilities. It will be sad to see either one of them go.

I hope we can get a SB before that time comes. I do think if health issues do not araise with any of them then chances are within 2 years Dallas will be looking to make a trade using one of the backs. A lot of things can happen between now and then so we will wait and see. For the time being though we have some very good RB on this team and I hope we use them a lot more than we did last year. I think that would be a big help for Romo

But when it did, man oh man did it ever pay off. :laugh2: I don't think we will ever see a trade like that again. However I know to get something worth a damn in a trade you must be willing to give something up of great value. You offer up crap you get crap back.

I just got back from my dentist who makes mouth guards for the bears and he said that the bears are going to trade ditka, some brots and a 4th round pick for barber....
