I know many of you will have a million reason's why Romo should play next week and that is fine. I respect your opinion.

HOWEVER, I just hope that right decision is made and Bledsoe starts in our playoff game next week.

IF not, we'll end on an 0-3 THUD with Romo making rookie mistakes (as expected because he IS a rookie).

Bledsoe has been there and done that. He has a 60% winning percentage in the playoffs.

I will take my chances with Bledsoe Sunday against Seattle.

For the record....I do NOT hate Romo...I just feel as Jerry Jones said a few weeks ago, Bledsoe gives us the best chance to win with his experience.

Simple as that.

How exactly does putting the deer in headlights, over the hill statue back in, help our horrid defense that can stop nobody? If Romo did not take over for Bledsoe, this team is not even in the playoffs.

I agree. I dont hate Romo either, but he is not ready.

Although, Bledsoe hasn't played in months and is probably rusty. I was secretly hoping that Romo would pull a muscle in teh first half today and let Bledsoe throw off some of the rust and bring us home a superbowl.

Oh well, not going to happen.

I also hope Bledsoe starts next week. I hope he starts getting the bench warm for the rest of the guys early. It's going to be a cold one up there.

Deer in the headlights describes Romo perfectly.

No words exist that could possibly explain how idiotic this idea is.

Well, I hope that under no circumstances do we start Bledsoe next week.

Romo is our future QB. Even if we go to Seattle and lose, that's a very valuable piece of experience for any young QB. Before any young QB can win championships, they have to gain experience losing IMO. That would just be another part of developing a young QB IMO. It has to happen and it does us no good to have Bledsoe in while we lose. Better to let Romo win or lose and live with it IMO.

LOL.

The Bledsoe Beloved were waiting in the wings for a bad Romo performance.

Now they're out in full force pimping their guy as if he would have done any better.

Yeah...awful performance by Romo...He scored 31 with no running game...a lousy offensive line..and came within a yard of scoring another TD at the end.

Yep, he was sloppy with the ball. At least at the age of 26 he's got a chance to improve on that.

Not so with Drew Frankenstein Bledsoe at QB.

This team isn't going to the SB, so let Romo get his experience.

The ultimate in psyche-out game planning, have them prepared for Romo and then slip them the ol' Bledsoe, brilliant!...until the first interception.

As stupid as this thread is it's still nice to know that we have somebody on the bench that has some experience just in case Romo does get hurt.

I'll second that,,, wholeheartedly. Parcells reluctantly threw Bledsoe to the curb because it was obvious that this team had ZERO chance with him behind that crappy OL(and the OL still sucks, nothing can be done about it yet, so putting in Bledsoe would yield the same disaster). Parcells also stated early and often that Romo would be a work in progress and he would experience some tough times.

So the team will take it's lumps with Romo as planned and leave Captain Sack on the sideline!

I, personally, believe this playoff game will do more for the development of Tony Romo than anything we could have ever hoped for this year. He's only going to get better and the playoff experience will help a great deal. I'm excited to see how this sorry excuse for a team reacts to being in Seattle next Saturday.

Back to my Grey Goose IV drip....

Despite being vocal about Romo's 'rookie' mistakes, the positives Romo brings overwhelms the negatives. Yes, even the turnovers which probably cost us the game are included in that assessment.

Romo should learn from his fumbles today which are just what got Bledsoe canned in part.

Would you rather have an older QB who has no mobility and makes rookie mistakes or a younger QB who has great mobility plus the ability to generate play?

Romo will occasionally play like he did today. Bledsoe has played like Romo did today his entire career.
