I know many of you will have a million reason's why Romo should play next week and that is fine. I respect your opinion.

HOWEVER, I just hope that right decision is made and Bledsoe starts in our playoff game next week.

IF not, we'll end on an 0-3 THUD with Romo making rookie mistakes (as expected because he IS a rookie).

Bledsoe has been there and done that. He has a 60% winning percentage in the playoffs.

I will take my chances with Bledsoe Sunday against Seattle.

For the record....I do NOT hate Romo...I just feel as Jerry Jones said a few weeks ago, Bledsoe gives us the best chance to win with his experience.

Simple as that.

Yeah...that's the ticket!

Let's put Tuna in at guard while we are at it!

I'm absolutely SHOCKED that this thread has appeared yet again after a Cowboys loss.

I think he led the Pats to the SB and Brady started the SB game.

No Brady started the game and was injured and Drew came in later in the game due to the injury.

After last week's debacle I decided to do something I haven't done in YEARS...actually do something ELSE while a Dallas game was televised. I took my family to the Chicago Childrens Museum. Man am I glad I did.

That said...the idea of putting in Bledsoe because of Romo's play has got to be the (pardon me for saying) about the worst idea I have ever heard.

The only other thing I will say is that although Detroit is a far better team than their record would suggest for Dallas to lose by 8 points to a 2 and 12 team is just pathetic.

Dallas has now allowed something like 34 points per game over the last month. That's almost FIVE touchdowns per game. If THAT doesn't bring about a major overhaul for the defense I do not know what will.

Unbelieveable.

No!!!!

Let Romo play and gain the experience. I can't beleive how people will jump off the bandwagon because we are losing. It isn't just the QB costing us games. It's been a team effort including the coaching staff.

I will take my chances with Romo any day of the week and twice on Sunday, then I would to have the statue back behind center.

Well, if Bledsoe plays the next game, the defense won't allow all those TD's...

Apparently some of you were not watching the Bledsoe when he was playing earlier in the year.

Horrible completion rate. More INTs than TDs. Sacked 16 times in 5 1/2 games to Romo's 17 in 9 1/2 games. YDs per attempt Bledsoe was at 6.9 to Romo's 8.5

Bledsoe as a starter 3-2. Romo as a starter 6-3.

Romo has upside Bledsoe will be 35 next month.

No matter how you want to cut it, slice it, or dice it Romo comes out on top.

Valid arguement, but I disagree. Sure Romo picked up a ball in the end zone and completed a pass with it, but Romo was the one who fumbled it. That was very close to a TD the other way.

One of the biggest things that nobody is mentioning is that teams are not scared of Romo going deep. He hits one every once in a while, but misses on most. I could argue that this has alot more to do with our not being able to run the ball than you think.

And one of the things opposing defensive lines looked forward to was Mr. Pat-Pat-Thud standing in the backfield waiting for the rush. And it arrived with frightening regularity. But let's blame that on the Oline, or receivers, or anything but the Statue, just to humor you.

I just remember a different Bledsoe than you guys do. I watch that guy throw Aikman like in routes 20+ yards down the field. Now TO did catch a crossing route today, which was a good sign, but I would love to see TO get the ball like that behind the linebackers. With Bledsoe, that was a high percentage pass that he and TO hadn't worked the timing out on yet.

It would have been there, and it would have been unstopable.
What year was this anyway, and was the sky sort of rose-tinted, as can often be the case in the morning on a fine spring day, when the NFL is nowhere to be found?

Last year I worked 70 hours a week for a different job in the Bay Area and later wonderful Seattle, and when I changed jobs this summer and again started watching the Cowboys with regularity this fall, I saw a veteran quarterback that seemed satisfied to throw balls in the ground in front of his receivers or to the opposing secondary when he wasn't getting planted in the ground.

He had his moments, but they seemed too few for the number of years and alleged experience he was supposed to bring. They came primarily against bottom feeders earlier this year IIRC.

i'm like alot of you this team would not be where it is now with bledsoe yes he was a good qb but romo has brought a spark to this team and the way we are playing on the road i don't see us losing next weekend my suggestion is we get a whole new defense because they suck our offense goes down the field and puts us in the lead and the defense turn's right around and let them score again their is no way any team can win when the defense can't stop nothing our defense and our defensive coach needs their butts chewed out big time

KingTuna, no offense is meant, but how can you not see that Tony Romo is a superior QB to Drew Bledsoe and gives us a much better chance to win?

I honestly do not get that. Loyalty is one thing, blind loyalty is another. You know I respect you, so this is not meant to offend. I really have to know how you can suggest something this bad.

I wonder if (I know it is a big IF) Romo did score the TD in the end, converted the two, and we pulled out with a win, would the Bledsoe faithful be singing the same tune.

Well that is a relief.

I dunno about that premise, Bledsoe starting. Besides being slow and prone to INTs, I do not think Bledsoe would do just now. Because his feelings have been hurt and all.
I don't hate Bledsoe, but he just really is awful.:D
