I Hope Bledsoe Starts Next Week...

Someone should shoot Bledsoe in the leg if he attempts to take the field.

LOL.

The Bledsoe Beloved were waiting in the wings for a bad Romo performance.

Now they're out in full force pimping their guy as if he would have done any better.

:lmao2:

Romo fans should thank god for poor defenses like Tampa Bay on Thanksving. With last place teams, Romo wouldn't be writing his HOF speech. (Except for Detroit and Washington)

I know many of you will have a million reason's why Romo should play next week and that is fine. I respect your opinion.

HOWEVER, I just hope that right decision is made and Bledsoe starts in our playoff game next week.

This is funny stuff. You're trying to make sure HH31 loses his bet right?

This is the best comment I have EVER read on this board! CLASSIC! HOF MATERIAL!

IF not, we'll end on an 0-3 THUD with Romo making rookie mistakes (as expected because he IS a rookie).

Bledsoe has been there and done that. He has a 60% winning percentage in the playoffs.

I will take my chances with Bledsoe Sunday against Seattle.

For the record....I do NOT hate Romo...I just feel as Jerry Jones said a few weeks ago, Bledsoe gives us the best chance to win with his experience.

Simple as that.
^^^^^
dumbest thing ive ever heard.

You said a great deal there, and I am inclined to agree with you. ;)

I didn't think anything could be funny enough to start taking the vicious sting out of today's loss so fast.

But this thread is it.:laugh1:

This whole thought process is scary from anyone. Question when was the last time Bledsoe started and won a playoff game ?

You do remember Bledsoe threw 4 pics in the Superbowl against Greenbay:eek:

I submit this post for the funniest thread ever :lmao:

Romo had a good game, take away the fumbles, he just needs to keep 2 hands on the ball more....anyone who thinks Bledsoe should start has a mental problem..

Anyone who thinks romo had a good game shouldn't be evaluating the intelligence of other people.

Anyone remember the last time Romo took a snap in a playoff game?

I imagine this will be the biggest game for Romo since the wisconsin high school class b quarterfinal game.

One could argue that anyone wanting Bledsoe to start, with the state of this team, o-line and defense...might not want to throw stones in a glass house either.

Romo has a weaker arm, but gets out of the pocket better than Bledsoe.

Every time Romo got out of the pocket today, he dribbled the ball. I'll take the sack any day of the weak over the turnover. Oh, and Romo also got sacked a couple of times didn't he?

with Romo, you get the worst of both. = Sacks/ fumbles / Ints / horrible throws

I think he led the Pats to the SB and Brady started the SB game.

Is prior playoff experience an important element in the postseason, and especially for a QB?

Of course. As Bill says, until a player plays in the playoffs he has no clue as to the sheer speed and intensity of it.

But Tony's instincts...the kind of mindfulness that allowed him to deliver that ball to Owens from his own endzone after a heady scramble to retrieve the ball...that spontaneous feel for what's possible...that wits about him athletic intuition....it's too valuable to remove.

Does TR still make some 'rookie type mistakes'. YES. Was he careless today? YES. Could that do us in? YES.

Nope, the trade off (Drew's experience and deep ball vs Tony's field vision, mobility, awareness, poise AND the relative stress off the oline when he's in) is heavily skewed pro-Romo.

Sack, Int and Fumbles = Bledsoe.

The difference between Bledsoe and Romo...Romo is young and just getting his starts, bledsoe is a veteran and still makes the same mistakes 10+ years in the league.

Sorry...there is NO WAY, except an injury, that Bledsoe should or will get another start as a cowboy, nor should he.

Valid arguement, but I disagree. Sure Romo picked up a ball in the end zone and completed a pass with it, but Romo was the one who fumbled it. That was very close to a TD the other way.

Then he does it again on the next drive. He didn't learn anything from his mistakes.

One of the biggest things that nobody is mentioning is that teams are not scared of Romo going deep. He hits one every once in a while, but misses on most. I could argue that this has alot more to do with our not being able to run the ball than you think.

I just remember a different Bledsoe than you guys do. I watch that guy throw Aikman like in routes 20+ yards down the field. Now TO did catch a crossing route today, which was a good sign, but I would love to see TO get the ball like that behind the linebackers. With Bledsoe, that was a high percentage pass that he and TO hadn't worked the timing out on yet.

It would have been there, and it would have been unstopable.

Romo just doesn't have that. You hated to see Bledsoe get sacked, but I hate to see Romo leave the pocket.
