Every damn preseason it's the same thing. Apparently, losing a game when you're 3rd stringers are playing their 3rd stringers is a sign of regular season success to some of you guys.

You DO realize that 7 Super Bowl Champions went winless in the preseason? Including Dallas twice?

Our first team DOMINATED on both sides of the ball in the first quarter. That's all that should matter. We dominated arguably the most talented team in football. What our 2nd stringers did against their first stringers means NOTHING unless you think we will have 22 guys on IR come september.

Two things:

1. I'm just disappointed that this game wasn't very eventful, it was a bore after the first team played.

2. I hope that Brad Johnson never has to see the field as QB.

If you're not concerned about our special teams, you're not paying attention. They were dog crap last year, and they look even worse tonight. Including our 1st team coverage unit ... ESPECIALLY our first team coverage unit.

That's typically how preseason games go

2nd string O-Line + immobile QB = Bad

Speacil Teams, Speacil Teams, Speacil Teams. The other team starts at their 47 on every drive, we start on our 15. Same old as last season. Fix this and I agree with you. Eventually it will come back and haunt us like last year.

For the love of God, dude, it's "special" teams

And name one game we lost last year because of special teams?

I don't understand the point of this thread. If anything annoys me more than the complainers, its the people who complain about the complainers.

As to #1 it is the first pre-season game, what did you expect? These games end when either team takes out its starters. Our first team looked great and that is all that matters.

As to #2 - I hope Brad doesn't play (unless it is to run out the clock on a blow out) either cause that would mean Romo got hurt. If that happens we can kiss all our Super Bowl dreams goodbye:starspin

I don't think anybody is worring yet. But..... If Brad Johnson has to make a start, we are in some serious trouble.

Personally, I can't remember the last time I watched an "exciting" preseason game

Even the nailbiters are really that exciting because the result doesnt matter

well, "exciting" would be seeing a lot of our "scrubs". I really wanted to see why everyone liked Amendola so much. All I've got to base off of it is a fumble.

I agree with heavyhitta. lets not panic. actually, good for Dallas. shows what they need to improve on.

I like what F Jones did tonite, Choice and Austin looked nice. I think Carpenter is not a practice player but a game player. He seemed to be around the ball when he was in the game. Tank could be pretty good this year.

Ah.... we're a little weak at backup QB.

I'm just glad football is back. Preseason games don't mean anything. Glad to see we will have some good RBs to help Barber out. Not sure about TE/Bennett. Glad to get out of San Diego without injuries.
