I'm not a Vikings fan - after all the upgrades on defense, all the predictions about this being a SB team, all the anticipation: 0-2

I'm not a Packers fan - one last hurrah for Favre, and then Walker goes down: 0-2

I'm not a Ravens fan - aaaah the defensive stalwarts, Ray Lewis' pregame intro dance, the sheer electricity in that stadium: 0-2

I'm not a Chargers fan - Gates, LT, a renewed Brees, this team is headed for greatness, ousted from the playoffs as a result of a fluke missed FG: 0-2

I'm not a Cardinals fan - this defense was sick in the preseason, Kurt Warner is a huge upgrade, unbelievable receivers, Denny Green has turned this thing around, playoffs for sure: 0-2

Now, don't we feel better?

yeah i feel better. Instead of throwing myself off a bridge after last monday night maybe i will just walk in front of a train.

Not really because we lost to our arch enemies but it will be ok after we wipe the floor with the 9ers :D

I really thought Culpepper was becoming a great QB. Now he looks like a moose in the headlights and has thrown 8 interceptions. More than his season total last year. I guess Moss was a much bigger part of the offense than they anticipated.

So the question is, why isn't Kerry Collins lighting up the score board?

Actually most people think it's the loss of their offensive coordinator that is causing problems, who went to Miami.

Anybody else remember all of the posts whining about Parcells signing Bledsoe instead of Kurt Warner after our preseason game against them?

Well maybe you hadn't noticed Moss leads the league in receiving yards. But to answer your question, IMO Collins is a mediocre QB.

the redkins still wont make the playoffs thats all that makes me happy...and we are as good as the eagles atm

I heard this one guy on a radio that said the vikes were so bad they may actually lose in the bye week. That made me feel good.

Currently, the latest odds in Vegas are:

Bye -3 over the Vikings ;)

1-1 is better than 0-2, but not by much.

Ya - but just as we could easily be 2-0, we could easily be 0-2.

I'll take the 1-1 and move on.

The sky is not falling.

I've been seeing the bright side this week. With a young defense it was an important lesson. Thank god that loss didn't happen in week 15 when they could have secured a playoff spot, or could have avoided elimination. Thank god it didn't happen in the NFC Championship game or something. It won't happen again.

There is a lot to be positive about - Drew is the highest rated QB in the NFC, 2nd in the NFL. No interceptions. As many TD's (4) as Sacks.

If the Cowboys can have a big win against SF (not a nail-biter) everything will be just fine. Then of course they'll have to beat Oakland too or we'll be back to "what if". Go Cowboys!
