I keep hearing that Dak is 8-3 vs the Eagles but 2 of those wins dont count

Because if Hurts was playing the eagles would have scored more forcing Dak to do the same. So next week it tell me everything I need to know
so? we still played the eagles. but you are trying to disqualify the 8-3 vs. eagles.

perhaps you should have said, Dallas record vs. Eagles since Hurts started.

the 8-3 still stands. still valid. there is no denying that.

eagles were putrid in 2020, 2021 rebuilding, they have a shot at the SB this year. cowboys dont.
again, what does that have to do with the fact that cowboys are 8-3 in the past 11 games against Eagles. its in the past.

what happens in the future is TBD. but I see a lot of people here have their head up the eagles rear end....perhaps you want to switch teams?

Because its not against these new eagles with Hurts and AJ on the field. He will have to keep up with the eagles offense and score in the redzone. His win last year Hurts didnt play and the year before that the Eagles had their 3rd string players. So that 8-3 is not accurate at all. Lets see what he does against these new eagles and then that will determine if he is ready to take that next step.
Ok

Who are all of these 3rd stringers you mention that played in that game?
Minchew was very good in that game BTW...not sure if you noticed.

Yeah records don't always tell the whole story. The year the eagles won the Superbowl, Dak beat them once. But that was the last game of the year against the eagles backups (and Nate sudfeld). Cowboys put up 6 points and won.

Last year Dak beat them without hurts.

If the cowboys beat them next week, it would be daks most impressive victory against them.
And if he doesnt he will continue to be the man who cant win big games on the road

Dak is TERRIBLE in big games, but MM is even worse.
Even Dak's detractors think he's an average quarterback. The Eagles spent all year making bad quarterbacks look like Tom Brady. Dak like everyone else will pick them apart and the Eagles won't be able to keep up because our defense is better than previous years. It will force Hurts into making risky plays and he will turn the ball over. That's how it's going to go.

They have barely escaped the Washington Commanders and their secondary is Swiss cheese, this is a rivalry game as we are all aware. Cowboys win this one, that Eagles winning streak gets snapped next Sunday. Easier said then done, but I have a good feeling about this one coming up.

It is accurate becasue it is factual. It lacks perspective / context as you've outlined.

Eagles are 22-5 since the start of last season, one of the losses was in the Super Bowl, one of the losses was against the Cowboys with no Hurts. We have not gotten a Dak vs Hurts matchup since they've been this Super Bowl caliber team. One game was Rush vs Hurts, one was Dak vs Minshew. Next week we will get both QBs barring an injury to one between now and then. Another word just go win next week, no one cares what Dak did in 2017 against a totally different Eagles team. If Dak owns the Eagles like you claim it should be no problem to win in Philly.
The Cowboys beat the Eagles and Dak will be expecting a “Hurts-like extension”. Fair is fair.

Two wins in a row is a winning streak?

Lol.

So...when Hurts beats Dallas w/Rush @ Qb:

valid

So when Prescott beats Philly w/Minchew @ Qb:

invalid

So stupid.

So now we’re deciding what wins do and don’t count just to feed a delusional narrative.

This is peak CowboysZone.

rush could barely throw a forward pass that game.

Gardner put up 34 points.
I'm with you dude. Dak trashed Philly's D and even Rush rallied the team in that mess of a game in Philly.
