Whiskey to keep warm on these long winter nights, if i lived in Alaska i would lose my mind before the warm weather returned.

Off topic for a second, when i was a child people i know used to tell me that Stephen King used to sit in the dark in some Massachusetts mansion writing all these creepy stories, and the thought of that terrified me as a child. Well as a adult i drove past his mansion on Casey Key Beach FL, so much for sitting in the winter's cold dark silence.

Yeah, that's a far cry from your imagination! Bit of a let down, Sarek?

Dry White.

Bet the man has a fireplace just burning, listen to the classics, just a sipping away......

Speaking of which, after I get another kitchen built downstairs, another fireplace would be good down here in the mancave as well.....

Actually he would go away and write in Bangor Maine as well as the a few resorts in the Colorado area during off seasons to get away from people when he writes..... So very possible he likes the cold. Remember he wrote the Shining staying at that hotel during the off season......

No, I meant were you let down after envisioning it as a creepy, silent, dark mansion, only to find a sunny manse in FL

Unless I misunderstood you, Sarek?
