I Like Beer A Lot

I spilled some of the crawfish sauce (they serve it in bags where I go) on my jeans and it literally burned through my jeans (well, seaped through, as any sauce would) and left a welt on my thigh. lol I told them to make it as spicy as they could, didn't think they had ghost chilies in the kitchen!

Still finished it all in two sittings, but hot damn, it was a fight.

Dang.

They had the Zest Fest in Dallas this weekend. Some miltiary weopon grade level hot stuff there

My wife almost cracked. She was crackhead fiending for cheesecake the other night but I had to restrain her. Can't wait till Friday night. Mapping out my weekend of gluttony after 30 days of struggle. Here's what I got so far:

Friday:
Indian food (curry lamb, white rice, naan, gulab jamun - amazing dessert), followed by a show, followed by alcohol and cheesecake at Cheesecake Factory.

Saturday:
Found a Mongolian hot pot place. Lots of hot pots to choose from. It's a steaming pot of broth that you cook your own food in (meats, seafood, noodles, mushrooms, etc), followed by alcohol and late-night street hot dogs.

Sunday:
Jerk chicken wings from a Jamaican place by my house and alcohol while I watch the Super Bowl.

Anyone here like stouts? Samuel Smith had a holiday pack with a bunch - imperial, oatmeal, chocolate. Good stuff. Not a big fan of the coffee/espresso/chocolate ones though. Tastes too much like candy.

Huge fan of stouts! Will have to check out the Samuel Smith brand. I do, actually, like chocolate stouts, good ones aren't too sweet. It's more of a dark chocolate taste, Joey.

Haha thanks. I'm looking forward to it. Yeah I do prefer the darker chocolate stouts if I have a chocolate one. Try out Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout. It's awesome. One of my favorite beers. I don't drink beer often though. More of a whiskey and rum guy.

Joey, Oatmeal Stouts are out of this world!! I will most certainly look for the brand next time I'm at the store. Thanks for the tip, brother.

Founders Imperial Stout is my go-to when I am in the mood. I'm a huge Russian/imperial stout guy, myself.
