Thanks, Coach!

My son had the day off from his school today, so I decided to take the day off, too.

It's easy when your dad is the boss :)

Fellow travelers, blokes and louts, before I am banned, my previous post can be blamed on a 24 oz. of Icehouse and a 16 oz. Of Milwaukee's Best, recommended by grama who drank German and Mexican beer. She was cool, blokes!
I hope to see you in 3 days.

Don't be so dour, lad. You'll wake up tomorrow after your consumption of those fine American lagers to see yourself suited and booted for a great day of CZ shenanigans :)

Drinking a surprisingly good beer I picked up this past weekend in Portland. It's from Breakside Brewery and it's called Limited Edition: Bourbon Barrel-Aged Aztec. The description is "ale brewed with chilies and chocolate, aged in bourbon barrels." It's actually pretty good. I'm not into chocolate stouts but this is very good. It's not overly chocolate and the spice from the chilies isn't overbearing either.

Howdy Trouty...whats new in L.A?

Not much, Haley. Have that endoscopy in two weeks. Went miniature golfing this past Saturday and played 36 holes with the little one. Easy breezy, right now, Boxer.

And how is life in the beautiful foothills of Panama???

Thanks for opening up, too, Haley :)

Sounds good, given my favorite is Bellhaven Black -- a Scottish stout with a hint of chocolate, much smoother than Guinness.

Is that a local only brew?

It's brewed in Portland. I don't live in Portland, was just passing through. Not sure if they sell it online.
