Drinking Jameson scotch tonight. Not bad, my brother in law got it for me. Hope all is well brothers.

Hi guys! Pounding brews at the pad, watching Iron Giant with the little guy. I won't have him next weekend, his class is going to Catalina Island. :(

@Ranching, Salud, amigo!

Melon, I missed this. My condolences to you and your family and mother, man. I lost my mom to breast cancer when I was 17, I know the pain. My prayers are with you and yours during this time, brother. It's always safe to post in this thread. Anything and everything is on the table here, brother. I will pray for your wonderful mom as soon as I hit "reply', Melon.

God blesss you and yours.

Thanks Trouty, man, when I read your post I was just like 'wow' it blew me away, I've been avoiding coming to grips with this the last couple of months, I pretty much flew the coop when I was 17 and wasn't around much if any ,me and dad didn't get along all that well, but my momma always loved me and has helped me out in more ways than words can describe,,, I had a text conversation with my sister yesterday and it's finally struck home,,, I appreciate your genuine heartfelt sympathy my brother, ain't nothing phony about any of you guys around here and I mean that.
Sorry about my delay in responding back, but I'm not very skilled in emotional matters like this

Good bless her human courage. Life at any cost is no living. I have always admired courage and your Mother has real, honest Human courage. God bless you.

Copy that Haley!and thanks my brother.
She's said she's ready to go and doesn't really want to see anybody, she's stopped attending church services (man! She always drug me to church every Sunday and my little brother always seemed to come down with a illness early Sunday mornings and have to stay home with dad,yet he'd recover well enough to be riding his minibike by the time I'd get back with mom and my two older sisters,,, sheese,no s**t)
After dad passed she did volunteer work at the hospital/red cross work for years.

God bless you, Melon. I'm the same way when it comes to expressing my emotions. I'm better at consoling others than being consoled. Keep your head up, brother. Don't worry about delayed responses, move at your pace. Grieving and dealing with these pains are different for each person. My prayers are with you and yours.

That would be a fantastic day, Coach! We'd all be tossed in about an hour or two, tho :)

We'd all keep going tho, there's no doubt about it, I have a feeling we can handle our booze quite well :D

Hello fellas! As our friend Loc would say:

Gulp gulp gulp!

Lol, that's funny, I have some duck hunting buddies and one of them is pushing 85, (I laid on him for free a like new Ithaca featherweight mod#37 12ga. Taking up safe space) one morning we're out jump shooting cattle stock ponds and drinking bacanora(Mexican moonshine) and he's fixing to pull a draw from the jug and looks over at me and sez'
" count the glugs,,,kid",,,lol, it's hilariously mentally scarred me

That's awesome, Melon! In my hard boozing days I could down (and would down) half a pint of wild turkey in a swig. I was a damn boozer, I'll tell ya what.

:omg: I reckon that would've been about an 8 glugger with vacuum assist,,,:lmao::lmao::lmao:
I'm glad you or I drink like that anymore, but man! Sometimes a hard double glug pull straight from the bottle is just what the Dr. Ordered:thumbup:
