I remember being at a Kansas concert in the infield and the smoke was so thick everyone got blitzed just standing there!!! True!!!
 
Hell, you can buy a sheet of good acid (500 tabs) for around 250-400 depending on the quality.

Then there's powdered Molly, exctasy etc that varies in price (depending on how much you buy) and is everywhere and is very pure.

Hell yeah, brother. I prefer shrooms myself. Such a cerebral experience. And if you take around 10-14 grams you can induce a DMT level experience for a fraction of the price.

I've heard of those 70s hallucinogens. Nothing better, supposedly. :)

Good God...acid ruled when l was kid...but dangerous...Windowpain...purple blotters...MDA...that wasn't my thing....but plentiful.

It's dangerous if you're not in a good frame of mind or the product is inferior. I would never buy from someone I didn't know. I haven't done it in a few years, but for a while I was experimenting quite a bit just due to how available it was/is in my inner circle, Boxer.

I still do shrooms every once in a while. Helps me connect to my id/inner subconscious
 
So what would be the modern equivalent to Ludes I heard a lot about of but never really knew what they did; new drug that causes same effects, etc.?
 
There was also something called killer weed back in the 70's I think it had embalming fluid in it.

I've heard benzos, but I don't think it's an accurate equivalent (having never take qualuudes).

This got confused a lot in DC for PCP in my younger days. People dipped cigs in "embalming fluid" but was never really clear if it was just liquid PCP as intended or the death preservation agent. Evidently, at times it was real emb fluid and was terrible for people as you mention. Dipped weed is called "boat, wet, water, etc." It's a rite of passage around here growing up so played with it a bit but always cigs; boat will last for days.
