Not only did the Cowboys win, but a flag was thrown in their favor to preserve it. The refs didn't have to do anything. They could've left the flags in their pockets and the Lions win. Instead, the flags came out. Despite the Lions protestations, and even an ounce of common sense, the call went the Cowboys way and they won.

The "refs are out to get us" crowd turns into the greatest defenders of refs the world has ever seen. "Of course the call was right! How could anyone see anything else?" Meanwhile, had the roles been reversed we'd have 20 pages of threads announcing "proof" of an anti-Cowboys conspiracy, taking away our winning two point play.

It couldn't have played out any better. "The refs are out to get us, but not this time. They got this game-changing call right. Good job, refs."

Unintentional comedy and a Cowboys win. A perfect night.

I don't know why it's so hard to admit that the Cowboys get shafted by the officials a lot. Micah NEVER gets a holding call while being mugged. Did you see Hutchinson kick Hendershot, but we got the tripping call? I could go on. Of course, bad calls go against all teams, but the Cowboys get more of their fair share. Period.

As far as this game, you're damn right I'm glad something finally went our way. If you don't understand why fans lean toward their favorite team in these things, I don't know what to tell you, but I'm glad you find it all funny. I'm just glad we won.

I love watching the conspiracy crowd acknowledge they don't really believe that stuff. It's just a convenient excuse for a loss.
How does trying to figure out if the 2 point play was legal or not relates to pointing out the lack of calls against 11 or the holds that are regularly not called on the Cowboys defense? You are getting mixed up.

The facts do not support "the Cowboys get shafted by the officials a lot", though. This has been demonstrated by me and a few others. If you refuse delivery of those facts that's a you problem, not mine. "The refs" make a convenient excuse until a call goes our way. Suddenly, they become paragons of virtue. Miss me with that nonsense.

If I’m Detroit I’m more angry at our HC after the penalty for still going for 2 .

Give your team a chance to extend the game and win in OT. You could still have the momentum.

After the third time it was like the Three Stooges “ Niagara Falls”. Lol

You really others fans being upset with refs personal it seems.
Are you a ref or something?
Why do you enjoy this type of win so you can try to rub fellow fans of your favorite teams nose in it because a call was correctly made that actually went our way?

We just won and you need to reestablish equilibrium in your mind by picking fights with cowboys fans right after a nice win?
