The win was enough for me to be happy.
Moe Larry CheeseIf I’m Detroit I’m more angry at our HC after the penalty for still going for 2 .
Give your team a chance to extend the game and win in OT. You could still have the momentum.
After the third time it was like the Three Stooges “ Niagara Falls”. Lol
OMG, "the refs" miss a bazillion holding calls against the Cowboys every game. How does trying to figure out if the 2 point play was legal or not relates to pointing out the lack of calls against 11 or the holds that are regularly not called on the Cowboys defense? You are getting mixed up.
Not quite perfect, it's gonna overshadow, at least a bit on the National media, Jimmy getting inducted in the ROH.Not only did the Cowboys win, but a flag was thrown in their favor to preserve it. The refs didn't have to do anything. They could've left the flags in their pockets and the Lions win. Instead, the flags came out. Despite the Lions protestations, and even an ounce of common sense, the call went the Cowboys way and they won.
The "refs are out to get us" crowd turns into the greatest defenders of refs the world has ever seen. "Of course the call was right! How could anyone see anything else?" Meanwhile, had the roles been reversed we'd have 20 pages of threads announcing "proof" of an anti-Cowboys conspiracy, taking away our winning two point play.
It couldn't have played out any better. "The refs are out to get us, but not this time. They got this game-changing call right. Good job, refs."
Unintentional comedy and a Cowboys win. A perfect night.
I don't want to see what, exactly? The crybaby ref excuses I see here every time the Cowboys lose? You're right, I don't want to see it.YOU don't want to see it. Cool.
Respectfully, whatever helps you sleep at night. Your whole post is a call out to forum members who have complained about the refs. You can wait all you want, but it’s clear as day. Again, disappointing, but just my opinion. You neglected to reference the phantom tripping call on Hendershot. No I don’t feel called out, I just don’t think the Cowboys should apologize about winning a close game.Name one member that I called out. I'll wait. If you feel called out, that's a you problem. I didn't call out anyone.
That's the downside, I agree. Tonight should be about Jimmy and a Cowboys win.Not quite perfect, it's gonna overshadow, at least a bit on the National media, Jimmy getting inducted in the ROH.
OMG "the Refs" never do anything wrong you are just a bunch of whinners and cry babys, conspiracy crowd.OMG, "the refs" miss a bazillion holding calls against the Cowboys every game.
Make a serious response and I'll take it seriously. I'm not mixed up. I'm grown up. Excuses didn't fly with me as an employer, and they don't fly with me here.
You started the whining with this thread, though. We were celebrating and here you come. That's the downside, I agree. Tonight should be about Jimmy and a Cowboys win.
But this place cries so much about refs it is completely laughable that when a big call goes our way they turn into defense attorneys for the refs.
That these people are grown adults in an adult world while doing this makes it absolutely hilarious to me.
they may not. it does seem like the cowboys are victims more often than not. but in any event who cares? we won. why is your first thought to take fans to task? The facts do not support "the Cowboys get shafted by the officials a lot", though. This has been demonstrated by me and a few others. If you refuse delivery of those facts that's a you problem, not mine. "The refs" make a convenient excuse until a call goes our way. Suddenly, they become paragons of virtue. Miss me with that nonsense.
You called out the "conspiracy crowd" refering to those who are critical about the Refs.I'm still waiting to learn who I called out? I didn't mention any members at all.
The people mad about what I said are calling themselves out.
All I did was strike a nerve, apparently.
I understand. But it’s still disappointing.Actually you are allowed to call out groups or names of groups like haters and homers just not individuals or named members.
I'm tired of ref whining when the Cowboys lose a game. Watching the ref whining crowd suddenly switch gears is comical to me.You really others fans being upset with refs personal it seems.
Are you a ref or something?
Why do you enjoy this type of win so you can try to rub fellow fans of your favorite teams nose in it because a call was correctly made that actually went our way?
We just won and you need to reestablish equilibrium in your mind by picking fights with cowboys fans right after a nice win?
This.Disappointing thread. I thought call outs were not allowed?
Amen. After losing the Triplets ROH game the last thing I wanted to see was losing Jimmy's ROH game, too.The win was enough for me to be happy.
Again, who did I call out? Name one member. I'll wait.This.
With that being said, I admit that I had a similar thought at the time of the call. The conspiracy theorists are just too stupid. So it's hard not thinking about it at least once in such a moment. This is what the forum has done to us lol.
But making a thread about it... the calling out really has to stop around here. It poisens the whole atmosphere even after a win.
No you tried to pick a fight. Can’t even wait until tomorrow.I'm tired of ref whining when the Cowboys lose a game. Watching the ref whining crowd suddenly switch gears is comical to me.
I didn't pick a fight with anyone. I made a statement. Anyone who felt personally offended by it outed themselves. Find a mirror.
I wasn't whining, I was laughing. The responses, including yours, were whining. You started the whining with this thread, though. We were celebrating and here you come.
