I love how the Lions game ended

If I wasn't out last night and had to watch a recorded version of the game at 1AM, I damn sure would have written it. This and the Philly game were some rich wins. Lol.
It's funny how the ref villains suddenly become experts at their craft, defended for their expertise, when a game-changing call favors the Cowboys.

It shouldn't be hard to admit we got a break. But when you're invested in "they're out to get us" a call that goes your way demands a rationalization.

Not only did the Cowboys win, but a flag was thrown in their favor to preserve it. The refs didn't have to do anything. They could've left the flags in their pockets and the Lions win. Instead, the flags came out. Despite the Lions protestations, and even an ounce of common sense, the call went the Cowboys way and they won.

The "refs are out to get us" crowd turns into the greatest defenders of refs the world has ever seen. "Of course the call was right! How could anyone see anything else?" Meanwhile, had the roles been reversed we'd have 20 pages of threads announcing "proof" of an anti-Cowboys conspiracy, taking away our winning two point play.

It couldn't have played out any better. "The refs are out to get us, but not this time. They got this game-changing call right. Good job, refs."

Unintentional comedy and a Cowboys win. A perfect night.
Well they were out to get us on the fake tripping call. Just sayin.

Poor lions.

It felt as if they won a game by a catch and then the refs announced it wasn't a catch.

I wonder if that has ever happened before.

This is not why they lost. Two turnovers, 4 out of 13 third down conversions and CeeDee Lamb is what beat the Lions.

"Out to get us" explains every call against the Cowboys in the 21st century.

Some folks just love a good excuse. So much so, that when a call goes the Cowboys way there has to be a nefarious reason for it.

The Cowboys actually winning a trophy would put it all to rest. Almost 30 years of nothing makes fans reach for straws, and convincing themselves they're true.

I was being sarcastic. However, how do you call a tripping call on the offense, when the defense playing was trying to trip the RB?

Then conveniently do not show the replay. Hmmm......makes inquiring minds wonder.

Again, who did I call out? Name one member. I'll wait.

We get ref conspiracy threads after every loss and no one complains. More like rounds of applause. How dare I create a thread contradicting those threads after a win.

"Call out thread!" that called out no one. Again, if it struck a nerve with you or anyone else, ask yourselves why.
This was a great thread you started, can you imagine the reaction if the teams were reversed, this place would of had a meltdown with the see the refs are out to get Dallas and of course it should not of been a penalty. Thanks for a entertaining read and happy new year
