Looks like the Giants are playing good enough to beat the Eagles, so all we have to do is beat Tom Brady tomorrow and beat what may be the best team in San Francisco the following week. Piece of cake, right?
Hope springs eternal... is this satire?

I think that’s a fun take people have because of how playoff repeat matchups end up going the other way and they become famous, but I would venture 3 game sweeps happen pretty often too. Already happened TWICE these playoffs, for instance. And they’re a day old
YEah, history shows that the team that wins the first 2 more often than not wins the 3rd matchup. According to an ESPN article from a few years ago, the team that won the first two had won 2/3 of the playoff games as well.

As an eagles fan, the only freakin team that scares me in the NFC is the cowboys! Dak does well vs philly, god is with dallas! 49ers wont win at philly with purdy, no way! dallas has a shot, they always do. giants will be a cakewalk. quote me on this! lol their d line will be shutdown, hurtz will have time.
Well we wanted it. At least with a win tomorrow…lol. But Minny’s D is horrific and didn’t comply……..

y’all know how good Tom is. Last year had Hurts been able to hit the broad side of a barn y’all had a chance.

Eagles are a matchup nightmare for NYG. Usually I don’t overlook opponents but holy crap. There are 5-6 teams that didn’t even make the playoffs I’d rather play NYG than
I'm not convinced Hurts will be healthy enough to play. Yes, he played last week but was in a lot of pain according to his HC.

Was also 2 weeks before he has to play again, having played 3 weeks after succumbing a 4-6 week injury.

This time off could have been a godsend. You’re very likely right if we failed to lock up #1 and had to play today

LVE made a good point last week regarding Hurt's injury. As he put it, unless his shoulder is 100% healed, it will change the way plays, especially trying to avoid hits.......he may not run as much getting rid of the ball a little faster to avoid sacks also, how the feels in first half could be entirely different in the 2nd half or 4th Q.

Maybe im totally wrong and will own this prediction… that won’t really matter until the NFCCG

Lmao. This team hasn't been to the NFC championship in over 30 years. This team isn't even a sure bet to get past a 8-9 Tampa haha.
Dallas hasn’t made an NFCCG in 27 years

Cowboys haven’t won a road playoff game in 30 years

Cowboys haven’t won consecutive road playoff games in 47 years

Dallas hasn’t made an NFCCG with a QB taken after the 1st round in 40 years

Brady hasn’t lost to Dallas his entire 23 year career

SF hasn’t lost a home playoff game to a wild card team in 35 years

Would be one of the most historic seasons if you broke all those

Well, we are the Dallas Mother Trucking Cowboys....we were once known for historic efforts, and it's time for a return. Step 1, beat the GOAT.

Now why in the heck would the 49er-Eagles championship game be played in Dallas? I thought only the AFC game would be at a neutral site?

it also gave them a ton of confidence going into this week. They felt like their backups played the eagles toe to toe and were really excited all week about it. The players and coaches plus the ny media really harped on it last week. The eagles are better but the giants know they can play their and will get a shot this time with an offense that has appeared to find a way to move the ball in multiple ways.
Did you see the Giants starters play against the Eagles? They were horrible. The playoffs is a different animal. The Giants have been remarkably consistent all year. I don't see them having enough to beat the Eagles, and a relatively healthy roster.
