It's kind of telling that Trikweze Bridges played a ton of snaps today in place of Diggs and was there was no noticeable dropoff.
Yes, Washington was down to practice squad receivers, but Bridges is a 7th round rookie that was cut by the team that drafted him (Chargers).
It's really 20. And there was an absolutely horrific bad call on a 4th down to extend a Washington drive that resulted in a Commander TD. I'm not pounding my chest with pride, but it was a solid defensive effort compared to previous weeksWhen a team is without its top 3 WRs and still puts an honest 22 points on you then its nothing to be proud of
well, cowboys went prevent when we were up 41-15.....they tried avoiding giving up big plays....When a team is without its top 3 WRs and still puts an honest 22 points on you then its nothing to be proud of
Carson played just special teams from what I saw. Had a penalty late on a return.I thought he played well . He hits which is a big plus . Did not see Carson at all
I get what you are saying but it was actually just 15 before garbage time. Actually 13 since two points were a safety. When a team is without its top 3 WRs and still puts an honest 22 points on you then its nothing to be proud of
You on the dance floor yikes!!backing that up.
Well you got a great offense and a horrendous defense.I have no idea what this team is 7 games into the season. at 3-3-1, they sound average. the offense is historically good. the defense if it shows up at average then opponents really don't have much chance. but its that they tend to just go into the abyss at times and if we don't literally score every possession, we lose the game.
I can't see us beating denver on the road, on grass since we are not a good grass team to begin with and on the road....Washington was missing three WRs. they were hampered. Denver's offense is not like washington. they will run. they can pass and given its cowboys defense, its 4 downs to get a 1st down.

Yup, .500 is peratory. It's simple, the offense is good and the defense is really bad. Add in the fact that Dak will excell vs bad teams and ones that are missing many key players like today and you probably have a .500 team. Unfortunately with that type of team you will either have Jerry wasting the GB or other picks trying to get the defense over the hump (FYI it ain't happening) or get a mid round draft pick
Dallas played its best game of the year as a team, this offense is special, and the defense looked much better. Good Win. Playing more man really helps these corners and Dallas stopped the run much better as well. Linebacker play was better much better tackling; it was good to see Dallas play some fundamentally sound defense.Offense has to put up 40+ to relax a little. Defense made a big jump on a few levels (more man, more blitz, better asignment sound football at both DL and LB. James took another step towards Sanford riding pine and getting into his right roll as a backup. EZ finally hit pay dirt. Eberflus changed to preserve his job and went back to what our DBs were drafted to do. Don't get too exited, but we're back to .500, took second place back in the division, and the Giants lost to a last second field goal. Great day, boys! LFG Cowboys!![]()

By no means perfect, but they played together and made a few big time stops today. And that's all they need to be with this offense.Dallas played its best game of the year as a team, this offense is special, and the defense looked much better. Good Win.
