I really don't know what to make of this team

On defense, who were the Commanders missing today?
That was never going to be an issue. This team *if it doesn't short circuit* is capable of 40+ point totals with just a modicum of defense.

The 2025 Cowboys offense:

is about as lethal as I've seen in a good while.

It's the first team I've ever thought is better off throwing pick 6's or giving up a punt or fumble return for points rather than have an opponent dictate terms via gameplan & playcalling. I'm dead serious.

Today we got a few stops. And it was all we needed to blow out the Commanders sans their weapons.

we are also three plays away from being 1-6
It is amazing how our 3-3-1 is entirely fitting for this team. You are right- but almost the exact opposite can be said as well.

I see today as the start of a 10 game season. We will likely need 7 victories to qualify for post season play.

Can we go 7-3. As constructed defensively today? Probably not.

Funny thing is we're also 3 plays from 6-1. That's the crazy thing about having the #1 offense and #32nd defense, bro. It's like your team's bipolar. Thank your lucky stars Brandon Aubrey and Turpin are Dallas Cowboys or we'd def be 1-6. Jerry's thrift shopping paid off big time with our special teams studs. You gotta admit...

I have no idea what this team is 7 games into the season. at 3-3-1, they sound average. the offense is historically good. the defense if it shows up at average then opponents really don't have much chance. but its that they tend to just go into the abyss at times and if we don't literally score every possession, we lose the game.

I can't see us beating denver on the road, on grass since we are not a good grass team to begin with and on the road....Washington was missing three WRs. they were hampered. Denver's offense is not like washington. they will run. they can pass and given its cowboys defense, its 4 downs to get a 1st down.
I try not to worry about it and just enjoy the ride now. It makes games a lot easier to have fun with. You've already moved on to worrying about Denver. The last 30 years have shown us that you can't enjoy this team that way. It will let you down eventually. I've become the cliche: We just take it one game at a time.

you are so full of it
convenient memory lapse about last week
Just because you don't agree with me you speak in a way I assure you, you would not in person. I can't say what I would like to. But you sure are a pathetic cowardly keyboard warrior.

I'm inclined to take our bumps and bruises with a grain of salt for the remainder of this season. If things change too abruptly for the better, this FO won't be likely to take care to improve this team as needed. There's a desperate need to improve this team's performance level at this juncture. That's a fact.

Let's hope each loss instills a desperate desire to make the bold changes that will be necessary within the next offseason. Desperate needs call for desperate measures. Hopefully, change will be realized as something that cannot be ignored at season's end.

Maybe that's what it takes for this FO to wake up! I'm not likely to take pleasure at each and every loss but if it instills corrective measures in this management, it might be seen as a possible necessity.

Offense has a chance to win if they score more than 35 points a game.
Defense is historically horrible.

In other words, DAL will probably miss the playoffs or lose immediately in the post session.

That's because you are letting your emotions get involved in your thought process.

The Commanders were short a lot of key personnel today to be fair. We deserved the win- we should have won and did.
so we give excuses to the opponent!!! we have had injuries all season too, at one point 4 of the OL men were out. CD was out. Turpin was out. but people took time to attack and criticize Schotty, Dak and the rest of the team.

A great offense. A poor defense. You don't know what to make of this team? It's been the story for like almost 30 years. LOL

dude, they were up against practice squad WRs
wait, so when we had 4 OL men out, do we consider the opponents played against practice squad and 6th stringers? you know CD was out, Turpin was out. and we had defensive players out. so they get the excuses but we don't!?

Every week any team can win in the NFL. Dak is playing at a very high level so it’s the same recipe as before scoring early get a lead and don’t expose the D. December will tell the story as usual imho. But other than the D it’s going to be interesting the rest of the season
