It was painful but I rewatch the game. Here are some things I saw.

Flo was awful the whole game. He should have been called for holding 20 times and got no push on run plays.

Bledsoe many times had time in the pocket to throw but seemed to panic and rush the throw anyway. Seems like he thought he was going to get sacked when there were no defenders near him. He seems shell-shocked although I know that is a bad word to use to describe it.

TO was getting open on almost every play. If Bledsoe could have gotten him the ball he would have torched the Jacksonville secondary.

both Tackles looked pretty bad to me, but I didn't rewatch it.

I thought the RT position played pretty well but I agree with the orginal poster. Adams could have been called for holding on almost every play. I thought he played like an old, injured player. Not good.

I agree with all three of your comments but this one in particular was one that stood out to me during the game, particularly in the 2nd half. He hardly ever stepped into his throws as if he were expecting to get hit even when no one was near him.

Initially, I thought it was because of his tight back (or whatever was bothering him) but when you brought it up I started thinking that maybe he was getting gun-shy. It happened to him before after his injury in 1998(?) but I thought he was over it now as I didn't remember seeing it last season. Joe Namath had the same problem late in his career, you start "feeling" the passrush even when it isn't there and rush your passes.

It is completely understandable when you've been hit as many times as Bledsoe has but that doesn't help our team any if it is indeed the case.

Yep, just like I kept wondering why Romo wasn't coming in for Bledsoe I couldn't figure out why Fabini wasn't coming in to replace Adams.

Given that the team has McQuistan and Fabini as alternatives, it wouldn't shock me to see either (or both) on the field Sunday Night.

Adams looked plain awful.

This actually explains some of the reason why Ware wasn't getting calls on D and eventually got worn down -- the refs seemed to make a decision early on that if they didn't let the most of the holds go that it would make for an 8 hour long game.

McQuistan wasn't active.

I think he meant this coming Sunday... Against the Commanders.

I thought Colombo was okay, but Flo was awful. He's not recovered from injury, not in shape, or both.

We knew OL was going to be an issue. It is year after year. Hopefully we have the talent to improve over the course of the season unlike previous years.

I definitely thought all the optimism on this board was a bit premature. But I suppose it goes with the territory. Now everyone is in despair.

He was throwing off his back foot when the pressure came up the middle, which isn't anything new and is somewhat understandable. I thought some of his biggest misses came during or after the rain in the 2nd quarter.

Well you wonder then relative to his shoddy performance, what Flo meant about feeling fabulous then - unless he chose this Cowboy moment to come out of the closet.

Nice backup plan for Flozell's malperformance. Couldn't they see he wasn't right during practices. He has been out several weeks because of the leg injury.

I believe he was just talking, because Colombo played a decent game, no holding, no false starts and he did not give up any sacks.

I actually think that maybe they should switch Colombo and Adams until Adams is really ready, or let Fabini or McQuistan play.

I'll check it a little further, but I thought Colombo played very well....including having a block that helped spring Julius loose for the first TD and containing Reggie Hayward all game long.

Thank you......Flo and Rivera were our worst OL yesterday but it was Flo by a long shot.

Even I have to give props to Gurode for a good game.

Colombo played the best of the bunch.
