I still think Henson can be our QB of the future.

Henson did not look that good in his 1st game. But he has improved ALOT since then. I think overall he has done good. His OL bites and his WRs do not have very good hands.

Things I have seen about Henson I like -

He has a real good feel for pressure coming in and can make moves to buy time. This is a real biggie. If he can feel pressure in NFLE he will feel it in the NFL. You either have it or you dont with this.

He is getting faster at reading and reacting to defenses. He still needs some work but he is doing very good so far.

His short and medium passes look great. He also shows a very powerful arm when throwing on the run.

Shows a very strong arm. He can really sling that ball.

I know some are worried about his delivery but I am not. He gets the ball there and if you look closely you will see he does throw from different angles. When he throws the deep ball he comes over the top. I think he just throws from the angle he feels he has the best chance of completing the pass. He might come over the top on a short or medium pass or he might sidearm it. One thing is for sure...over the top or sidearm he can put serious heat on the ball either way.

His deep ball needs a little work. But I think more of those deep passes woulda been completed in the NFL. But he needs to work on that one more. But I think he will get better at this.

I think Henson is just gonna get better and better. It was HENSON that wanted to go Europe. Mad props to him for doin what he can to get better. He was never gonna get any much needed time like this with Parcells here. Good news is that Parcells might be in his last year and maybe with some luck Bob Stoops will be the new man in Dallas in 2007.

If Henson keeps improving and showing more then no matter how bad Parcells will want him gone Jerry Jones will not let it happen.

I will say this. If Bledsoe should get injured this year and is out 4 or more games.....he will not get his job back. Henson will have taken it over.

I really like ur optimism. and with no doubt Henson CAN be our starter! :D whomever runs the boat better, I go with. if its Bledsoe then go ahead. If its Henson who takes over , much better.

Oh definately anyone who can be a sub-par QB in the European football league is definately ready to play in the NFL... I mean just look at all the successfull transitions... oh wait thats right he sucks and it will never happen my bad;)

Henson has impressed me during this European run thus far - but I wouldn't go so far to say that he is ready to take the helm. My contention has always been for him to ride the bench for 3 years and reevaluate after that - I would like to see him as the second string at this point (unless Romo finally does something to show me he is as good as everyone says he is), but as far as playing time, I don't think it's time yet.

Talk to me in 2007 - that's when I expect the boys to be looking for dividends on their investment.

I like Henson and I think he will be just fine. He is showing some maturity over in NFLE and I think he is progressing quite nicely. Considering that he has played only 13 or so games since Highschool as a starting QB,, I think he is showing why JJ went after him. He does have great potential and I believe he is our NEXT starting QB. That said, if we have a chance to grab someone like Brady Quinn next year.. all bets are off on Henson :)

Well I've got a thermostat in the ground...yep, long ways away from freezing down here. In fact I would say blistering hot heat for the next 3 eternities or so. Nope, hell has not frozen over, but I'll bulletenboard your idea for the big red guy.

Well just got back.. Looks like a success. The big red guy is going to meet up with youknowwho upstairs and it looks like this might happen. I guess they're planning on revealing their true existance to the world on the very same day too...All three will rise from the star at the 50yd line....Drew Henson, God, Devil...they'll be holding hands, the Devil will be the one without a smile on his face, for he never though glacier ice would be the commodity from where he comes.

Go Drew!

Ithink Henson is best fitted to be our qb on the practice squad, this way Ware and Williams can fire him up and get him the heck outta here. What a waste o a good draft pick

I am really pulling for Henson, however, I have watched two games and have not seen nearly enough to convince me he is ready.....

I will still watch and hope to see a sign.....

Iwas a henson fan until that pathetic Bears game.He looked like a deer in headlights. So nothing he does in NFLE will impress me .I think we are much better takeing a Croyle or Marcus Vick in the late rounds this year

So basically you're saying that you've given up on someone who was starting their first game in the nfl without playing football for 3-4 years, and was playing against one of the best defenses in the nfl...

So essentially what you're saying is that you're an idiot right?

Ignore those people. They're pretty much the same person under different aliases. There is no way you cannot root for Henson. He's said all the right things and is looking better each game.

There's a way, but I can't understand it. It has something to do with some inane desire to have "called it" on an internet message board.

Dunno about you, but I'd much rather root for the Cowboys hopeful successful future than thump my chest and be right about something to a bunch of people I've never met.

But that's just me.;)
