Imo dak is the same as mcnabb when mcnabb was young.......

I think I like this comparison the best. Similar builds. And they both are known for throwing the occasional worm burner or pass that makes you go, what was that?

McNair was the 3rd overall pick in his draft. He started 6 games in his first two seasons. He didn't start full time until his 3rd season but his season passer rating wasn't as good as Dak's 2nd season until his 9th.

McNair had his first 300 yard passing game in his 11th start. He had his 3nd in his 46th start. Dak has both after his 10th start. McNair was 18-16 his first 34 starts. Dak is 23-11.

There is not another quarterback in NFL history with a passer rating in the 95's in their first two combined seasons who started every game while throwing over 900 passes while scoring 12 TD's on the ground as he led his team to over 65% winning percentage........you wont find one as a top 5 draft pick like McNair and a host of other "blue chippers".

The closest comparison based on statistics and won-loss percentage is Russell Wilson.
If your post is to claim that Dak is better than McNair then you are so wrong. If you saying Dak is comparable to Russell Wilson, well Dak is 0-2 vs. Wilson and Wilson passing and Dak's miscues was the difference in the game. So Wilson is much better than Dak. Wilson has been without an OL and has gotten his team to the playoffs (see last year).

I already posted that McNair was far better than Dak and that Fisher's prehistoric offense and bad QB management as a HC was the problem with McNair in the pros. Fisher messed up the early years of McNair, got Vince Young NFL Rookie of the Year out the NFL, and messed up Goff so bad that people was saying Dak was better than Goff as the no.1 overall pick. How is it working for Goff now that Fisher was sent fishing and Goff has a offensive young guru as HC?

I do not want to regurgitate my post regarding why McNair is so better than Dak in college and pros that the comparison is not there at all. But go to these 3 links for what ESPN thought of Steve McNair college years, Gil Brandt thoughts on Steve McNair college years, and Alcorn st. website on Steve McNair.

You are what you are. Dak is Dak a 4th round pick and Steve McNair was the 3rd overall pick in the draft for some big reasons.
