I think the Eagles will collapse

I didn't really base my observation on just the Washington game. I had been watching them a little each week.
But I re-watched the Cowboys vs the Eagles from the last time, and on the field the Cowboys actually outplayed them except for a few plays. I've noticed how childish their coach acts.
Against the Texans it really showed. The Texans were a mess, but I noticed how the Eagles got out of sync at times.
They are using a gimmick offense that works until teams scheme for it.
I think Eagles fans are in for a heartbreak.

The Eagles are bringing an offensive attack that is very hard to match up with, but Washington proved that they can be handled.
Most teams can't, but Washington was able to shut down Brown, and that payed huge dividends.
AJ had only 1 reception on the day in that game.

You sure that Washington is worse than the packers? You are aware that the packers have a worse record and had a 5 game losing streak before the last game. They also actually lost to Washington this year. How are they the better team?

I don't think the Eagles are for real. They run a high school offense that will be easy enough to stop when crunch time sets in. By "High School" I mean taking your most athletic player and letting him be the bulk of the offense.
Moreover, they seem to be too immature to sustain their game when opposing teams get physical with them, and their head coach is more like the schoolyard showoff with a big ego than a settled leader. Their timing is easily disrupted when they are approached by a physical defense. These intangibles may prove to be their undoing.
When opposing teams scheme to stop Jalen Hurts from sneaking out of the backfield and take away a couple of his "go-to" routes in the passing game, frustration will set in and I think they will struggle.
The may make the playoffs, but a mature coach will shut them down when the time comes. Much like Lamar Jackson struggled when defenses stopped chasing him and dared him to come to them, I think Hurts will be stopped.
Running quarterbacks are always a fad, but never a long-term solution.
That's why the NFL got away from it and the "pro-type" offensive schemes took over years ago.

Elway, Young and Wilson jump to mind. Obviously, they were also light years better from the pocket than Hurts but they were all great "scramblers."

Hurts is not a "scrambler" he is a running QB like Fields for example.

Even if the eagles struggle, this whole division is tough. The cowboys have very little wiggle room. Chances are low that the other 3 teams all fall off.

3 of their remaining games are against teams with top 10 run defense. 4 if you count top 15. These teams are going to play against the run and force Dak to beat them which has been shown to be dicey.


I predict we go 3-5 in the last games.

Finishing 9-8.

I doubt the eagles go 1-7.

With respect, let’s be honest please. Record alone may not tell the whole story. Record plus a 5 game losing streak and losing to the team that you say is worse paints a vivid picture. How can you argue that the packers have been better than Washington this year? What’s stats or eye test have showed you that?
