I believe Rush beat the Giants easier than Dak did. Dak has had games where the offense has managed 3 FGs.

Defense scored a TD to beat the giants. the defense played a lot better than the first game. lets not forget giants had a QB that wasn't even on their roster to begin the season. not that Jones is anything special. but in that game, they went to the middle of 3rd quarter not punting once.....defense held them to field goals, but man, the crappy giants didn't have to punt until middle of 3rd quarter. and not because we turned the ball over. or didn't score. we had 122 yards rushing second game vs. 80 yards first game....

so yeah, not really easier. but the opponent was also worse off.

It's cute that you think the defense plays in a vacuum and nothing else affects it, like constantly going 3 and out or turning the ball over to the other team, forcing the defense to get exhausted even before half-time.

Yeah, the defense sucked, but Dak helped the defense suck by the offense being unable to stay on the field long enough to rest the defense.

Only problem I see is, Dak needs to be a bus driver for this team but chooses to be the hero every play. Hence the turnovers.

Rush is a bus driver and is driving it as is, less turnovers and the offense/defense looks better.

When your behind all the time. Your QB has to take more chances. Pretty simple.

It would have been nice to have had a defense that could have made stops to not put the offense behind the 8 ball almost every game.

It would be nice if we had a offense that could keep up with another offense.

How many times have the team elected to take the ball and go 3 and out? Or the many times the offense can't even score a damn point till 1 min left of a half? This puts a lot of pressure on our weak defense that everyone knows about.

If you 3 and out, throw ints and turnovers, cant score early, cant control clock....it most assuredly negatively effects defense.

Not necessarily saying dak did that, nor fully absolving defense. Only that offensive woes hurt the defense. And surely we've had them.
