Jerry should have his lawyers move to invalidate Dak's extension and move forward with Cooper Rush at quarterback.
He could continue to let Trey Lance develop while letting the Cowboys have real leadership at the quarterback position for the first time in eight years.
It’s the best hope for the team to have a chance at returning to being a championship caliber team.

You do realize that the less time the offense spends on the field, the more time the defense in on the field? Ergo, if the offense can't not only score but can't get first downs, they turn the ball over. TOP goes to the other team and exhausts the defense because they're always on the field. So yeah, the offense (and Dak by association because of his poor play) helped the defense suck. The defense didn't need help sucking because it was bad enough on its own...but the Cowboys could NOT maintain time of possession to any reasonable degree for the most part.

Oh my mistake I thought you were implying Romo was laughing because he went through something similar. Romo had his hate for sure. I'm not entirely sure who gets it worse between him and Dak. Idiots use to get upset at Romo wearing his hat backwards.....with Dak people use his brothers suicide and his mother's death as a tool so I don't know. Both have arguments for probably unfair treatment being they both have Jerry as GM. But they also both signed with him TWICE....so there's that.

This is what he does. He plays dumb like he didnt' say any of those things then you point out what he says and then he says he didn't say it or doesn't respond. He's been doing it for years.

The issue is that Rush exposes how crap Dak really is. We literally operate the exact same way with Rush. Dak brings nothing special and he’s paid like he’s a football god

Until last Sunday, the Cowboys offense never scored more than 25 points with Cooper Rush as the starter. The Cowboys won those games because teh defense held the opponents to less than 25 points.

Dak was never the reason the Cowboys lost those games. They lost those games early because every Cowboys defender with All Pro recognition was hurt.

The Cowboys lost their four best DE's after four. In addition, our bookend All Pro CB's managed to start a game together once.

Through all of that, the Cowboys have to learn a new defensive system.

This has probably been the most chaotic season since Campo's last in 2002.

No one in here is saying rush won these games, Everyone always tells us its a team game. Win and losses can't be blamed on 1 portion of the team as a lot of people have said on here.
