I think we will beat the brakes off of the 49ers

Here are my reasons why:

1. Purdy is a rookie
2. SF had a weak schedule
3. It’s San Fran who will be eating the cheese
4. If our defense plays 80 percent as well as it did this past Monday it will be a long day for Purdy.
5. If we get off to a slow start we can overcome it a little. If San Fran gets behind this game it’s going to get ugly for them.
6. The layoff might not work well for SF.
7. Dallas is a hungry team and smells blood in the water.
8. I think MM is calling the big picture shots and that’s a good thing.
9. Tyson Smith and the OL and the defense will be the difference this game.

Dallas 35
San Fran 21

And the game will not be as close as the score indicates.
Would you have predicted this after the Warshington game?

Jesus. This is the playoffs we’re talking about. Brady and the Bucs laid down like they have all season. The 49ers are a different beast. They actually have competent coaching. A potent and strong defense. A good running game. Good WRs. Mr. Irrelevant has been playing out of his mind. And finally, they have the moral edge as they sent us home last year.

Let’s not get our hopes up.
Dude. Werent you saying we were going to lose to Tampa and implode? Get a new schtick already. We get it. You have no faith. Cool. Dont come on here and moan about winning playoff games.

I just need a 3 to 2 victory. Anyhow, any way, just get this victory PLEASE DALLAS COWBOYS!!!
Yes, sir. One of the more memorable, exciting games in my 6 decades of fandom was the 5-0 playoff win over the Lions in 1970.

Purdy being a rookie means nothing. We are now in the playoffs so he's closer to a 2nd year player by now. Also, he already had his first playoff game experience and he started off a little slow but overcame it and they won easily. He also gets to lean on the best defense in the league and a coaching staff that knows how to scheme and adjust. If he starts off slow, I'd imagine they will be fine to change things up.

Can our defense rattle the young QB? Because they will be content with short dump offs and routes to let their playmakers make plays in the open field. They don't need the big plays to win.

My biggest concern is our OL vs their front. Our pass protection held up against Tampa and allowed Dak to scan the field. Can they do it against a much better rush? Can we establish the run? If we can't hold up in those areas, I see this game being a loss. Do that stuff and we can easily compete and win.

After 58 years of suffering with this team, I really don’t care. But, if fans as you say, “shouldn’t get their hopes up”, why play the game at all? :starspin:

Just like I said bout the bucs we will smash them and it won’t be close Micah and the defense will be having that rookie shook from the start

I think this game will be closer than you believe, but the Cowboys are capable of winning it if they show up like they did in TB. It won't be easy, but it's doable. Just win.
If both teams play like they are capable of, it's going to come down to the final quarter and it's about who makes the mistake.

was last week not the playoffs? Brady, laid down all season? That's odd, I saw him mount multiple comebacks all season winning every necessary game to stay alive. They also stomped us out THIS season as far as moral edges are concerned.

You do realize that MM has a better coaching resume than SF head coach…

We can win, but beating the breaks off?
I think you’re eating the cheese here.

Its amazing to me how dumb Cowboys fans can get after a nice win. Many fans fell into this "niners QB" thing last year and we got spanked. The Niners are an even better team THIS year with McCaffrey. There is NO blood in the water buddy. The Niners are also at home this year instead of on the road. Niners are the best team in the NFL and should be the favorites to win it all.

If you really think the Niners are anything like the Bucs you are sadly mistaken.
