I think we will beat the brakes off of the 49ers

I'd be absolutely shocked, albeit thrilled, if they went into SF and beat the brakes off them. I do expect a much closer game. With that said, I do believe this Dallas team can win this game if they bring their A game.

Can we stop the run?
What type of run? This isn’t Derek Henry pounding between the tackles. It suits our nickel package with Kearse as an undersized linebacker. That said, it’s hard to believe we will beat the breaks off of them, they’re a really good team.

Here are my reasons why:

1. Purdy is a rookie
2. SF had a weak schedule
3. It’s San Fran who will be eating the cheese
4. If our defense plays 80 percent as well as it did this past Monday it will be a long day for Purdy.
5. If we get off to a slow start we can overcome it a little. If San Fran gets behind this game it’s going to get ugly for them.
6. The layoff might not work well for SF.
7. Dallas is a hungry team and smells blood in the water.
8. I think MM is calling the big picture shots and that’s a good thing.
9. Tyson Smith and the OL and the defense will be the difference this game.

Dallas 35
San Fran 21

And the game will not be as close as the score indicates.
If we do we’re gonna win the Super Bowl

I was having the same dream the other day before I was awakened by my dog barking at the neighbor’s autistic kid as he was p*ss*ng on his stepmom’s car.

I’m not a Debbie Downer but I am sadly grounded in reality. I figured the Tampa game was doable since I truly believed the Dallas roster was better than theirs. I can’t say the same for this week, plus I believe we are at a slight coaching disadvantage, and toss in the couple extra days to heal and prepare.

I’ll be rooting like h*ll, and think Dallas can be competitive particularly if they can win the turnover battle. But I will be very surprised if the Cowboys leave SF with a win.

I'm picking the Cowboys, but don't get caught up on SF supposed weak schedule. Deebo & CMC are difficult for any team to gameplan against, and I don't think for one second that SF is feeling themselves. When you're playing a rookie QB it forces you to have to take every game seriously. I have Dallas winning 28-21, but if they can't stop SF playmakers then it's going to get ugly quickly.

Honestly, I don’t know why, I can’t explain it but I absolutely feel the same way

I felt the same way when we played the saints in 09 and when we played Seattle in 14. I just feel it

This ^^^^^^ can't explain but it is just a feeling that we are going to this game.

We need MM to come and say:"will win the ball game" versus the 49ers, "YOU CAN PUT IT IN 3-INCH HEADLINES!"

I totally agree. No way in hell does a guy named Purdy aka Mr. IRRELEVANT beat MPP. Dallas D scores two TDs. Book it.

I think Dallas has a 50/50 shot to win, but pretty rare that Niners get blown out when healthy. I think the Falcons roughed them up in a back to back E. Coast 10a game. Other than that, they're in every game.

Jesus. This is the playoffs we’re talking about. Brady and the Bucs laid down like they have all season. The 49ers are a different beast. They actually have competent coaching. A potent and strong defense. A good running game. Good WRs. Mr. Irrelevant has been playing out of his mind. And finally, they have the moral edge as they sent us home last year.

Let’s not get our hopes up.
I agree with you - I preferred us playing the IGGLES this round and hopefully see the NINERS in the Championship game. I guess people are trying to be positive and rooting out loud here. The guy who started this thread saying the BOYS will beat the brakes off them backs up his claim with 9 points- 2 of which are big IFS, a MIGHT NOT, an I THINK, and one that just says SF will be eating cheese - LOL.
Deebo and Mitchell ran all over us last year and now they have McCaffrey and a scrambler QB in Purdy, and we struggle badly with QBs like that. Plus Bosa and that D. I loved watching the TB game too, but honestly the BUCS shouldn't have even been in the playoffs - so not sure why so many are using last weeks game as the reason they will beat SF. I agree with you- SF is a different beast. I will also be rooting for the Boys, but am keeping my head in reality also, like you. It was great reading your post - nice to get a dose of reality on here, lol.

It would not surprise me at all if that happens. I think the Giants are playing their best ball of the year right now.
They’re one team I don’t want to play. You’re absolutely right in my opinion.

The schizophrenic Cowboys go back to riding the low wave of their dual identity crisis that we’ve seen all year.

last week I posted that the Boys will beat the Bucs in a blowout and that Dak would put up big numbers against the 8-9 Bucs……but this next game Mr, Hyde will return in a big way…..it’s the Cowboys way

Here are my reasons why:

1. Purdy is a rookie
He is but he's been playing well. Gotta give him that.
2. SF had a weak schedule
We had the 3rd easiest schedule in the NFL so their fans could say the same about us.
3. It’s San Fran who will be eating the cheese
I don't know what this has to do with us winning?
4. If our defense plays 80 percent as well as it did this past Monday it will be a long day for Purdy.
That's the thing... "If"
5. If we get off to a slow start we can overcome it a little. If San Fran gets behind this game it’s going to get ugly for them.
If we get behind it could be ugly for us too cause they run the ball well. How is this an advantage?
6. The layoff might not work well for SF.
Why is that? It might work amazing. It was just 2 more days then us?
7. Dallas is a hungry team and smells blood in the water.
Where's the blood? Isn't SF hungry too?
8. I think MM is calling the big picture shots and that’s a good thing.
Hasn't been in the past
9. Tyson Smith and the OL and the defense will be the difference this game.
Hopefully the line can play great against a great DLine.
Dallas 35
San Fran 21

And the game will not be as close as the score indicates.
We all want to win but I don't see anything you posted as a clear advantage

I think this game will be closer than you believe, but the Cowboys are capable of winning it if they show up like they did in TB. It won't be easy, but it's doable. Just win.
I could have cut and pasted this answer
