I thought stats didn't matter?

Racking up gaudy numbers is absolutely secondary to things like executing a game plan, game management, and ultimately the end result.

Digging deeper, we hope to achieve efficiencies in the red zone, on third down, and the 2m offense. To be fair, I thought their drives going into the half and the first possession of the 3q went ok. Other than that, this was a shaky offensive effort.

I’m personally not putting all of that on #4. As a unit, there still seems to some disconnect in a few areas. But if this conversation is about Dak, I think it’s fair to say he was not among the bright spots today.

Today looked a lot like Tony Romo vs Washington in the RG3 game. Very reminiscent

Except he finally found himself went back to basics and ran the ball for a 1st down to finish the game . Romo would have thrown an INT that would have seal the game for the Skins

Like returning a badly thrown pass for a TD in the 4th Q keeping their chances alive? Of course that matters. It's what we are talking about here.
seen every HOF qb have a bad play like this, you dig?

there was no chance i thought in blowout all garbage stats don't count , at least here thats the narrative but when its ours opponent trying hard to come back , their stats count? but ours dont..lmao hypocrisy that it total and non debatable hypocrisy.,

they never had a shot it was a blowout and well garbage time stats came into play..

oits a W or an L
there's no gray area bro! not in sports, let me know when they talk about a win as well sort of win..lmao

also thought garbage yards and stats don't matter we were up 24-0 means nothing WFT did after ward count since it never counts for our offense, does it? which is it... so they making it close late counts but when our team does it its mocked? im confused LMAO
So no better than Allen or Heinicke.

Not the burn you may think it is

enough already.... can you ever admit when Dak looks bad? He looked bad, not sure how else you can cut this.

At what point in my post did I say he DIDN'T look bad. Especially in the second half.. That makes two weeks in a row when he was fine for most of the first half and bad in the second. That is the sort of them that makes me wonder about the calf stiffening up on him during the halftime break .. Clearly something aint right.. My post is about the bottom line.. which is winning. Dak can play like hot garbage for all I care as long as we win.. THAT is my point. That calf is affecting his mechanics and frankly that might not get any better until he has some down time. He and Nussmeier need to get together and figure out how to get his mechanics to get right even with the calf impaired. Hopefully the two nice runs he had today might get his mind right as far as running is concerned. He just needs to be more decisive.

Yes! He was not all that great today. He seemed hesitant in some of his decisions, BUT he did make that play to put us in victory formation.

Last year when Dak was putting up record breaking numbers people twisted themselves into knots telling us that the stats didn't matter and winning was all that mattered.. Now Dak is putting up mediocre numbers in wins and NOW we're worried about the numbers.. Yall are a strange bunch..
....I think the tablet should be snatched out of KMoore's hands.

When those “stats “ include 2 interceptions one of which was absolutely pathetic then those stats matter

Your argument would make sense if he was not turning the ball over but he is. He had 2 and quite easily could have had 4 or 5.

nothing strange about being worried about our ability to make it past the first round of the playoffs. Do you think this offense could win a playoff game right now?

As long as this defense continues to play like it has been these last two weeks.. I am fine with what the offense is showing.. aside from the idiotic refusal to run the damn ball. I don't know what's going on with Dak but he's clearly off.. But it's not the end of the world as long as we're winning. He's got 4 weeks to get it figured out.. I always worry about muscle/tissue injuries in colder weather. Any little nick you have hurts more when you get cold. But you also get issues coming out of halftime after sitting with an injury. Dak and the Cowboys do not seem to be managing it well at all.

Plus 2 other near interceptions, a fumble that Zeke luckily fell on and numerous bad sacks because he won't run nor throw the ball away.

Gotta admit. It’s a real twist. I’ll take the wins. You feeling confident? Defense won today’s game.

It’s the same cast of characters that can’t tolerate any criticism of Dak. They are same Zeke white knights too. Many of the rational Dak fans are admitting he doesn’t look right. Kind of hard not to admit it unless you have an agenda.

Love means never having to say one is realistic.....

So touchdowns in a loss don't matter but INTs in a win do? Just checking for consistency here..

The Dak apologist are in shambles right now and are scrambling to defend his horrible play.

This is truly a sight to see.
Only ones in shambles are the ones complaining about Dak and the win.

All "Dak apologist" are happy about the win.

That's the real sight to see, that Dak haters can't enjoy the win
