I think I could free-base bath salts and have a better off season than what they did in 2012.

If you, for whatever reason, do decide to free-base bath salts and write a report about what we should do during the off season while on the bath salts...do me a favor and do it elsewhere...we have enough posters on here who either appear to be on drugs or who need to be on drugs without another one. ;)

Let's hope this turns out better than when you trusted Miles Austin.

You didn't enjoy the season pebble?

Next year will be even better!! Sit yo hatin a.. back and enjoy the ride. Unlike your Lord, JJ is building a foundation that will last!

I've trusted Jones the past 3 or 4 off seasons. Hell, he's only had 1 bad draft since Lord departed... 2009

Lord had 2 while here... 2004&6. And as many free agent mistakes.(Jerry had his issues with his own free agents, overpaying)

Said for a while now and will continue until Jerry proves otherwise: JJ(or organization) has been a top 5 GM(or organization)this decade!

You mad pebble...

I'm just making some basic assumptions, so I could be wrong, but I think the credit needs to go To Jason Garrett.

I think it's pretty obvious that he has brought some much needed attributes into VR. It's obvious that he's sharp as a tack, but more importantly, I think he brings structure and a desire to continously improve. He's constantly self evaluating every step of every single process, and I think it's paid dividends to this franchise..

We largely sat on our hands last off-season with cap issues. I think we add a couple key players from the FA pool this year that turns this team into something scary.

This morning I realized just how great his decisions have been since 2010ish as a GM. Really, he has made very few mistakes relative to the AVG GM. On draft day we have been a top 3 team in the league.

In Jerry we trust.

I agree for first time in long time I trust Jerry Jones again. Its not because he is suddenly fountain of knowledge but rather I trust the people who surround him now and Jerry is listening.

You're giving Groper WAAY to much credit.....his biggest contribution this past season was staying out of the way and letting his football people handle things and it turned out pretty well....expect that to change now that he's been named "executive of the year" and return to playing GM.

I think Dallas will continue to look at mid level FA, I don't see any high profile FA outside of signing our own. Frankly mid level FA have served this team pretty well

Other than Suh or a bargain deal on Peterson, I don't see a free agent that could make a huge difference.

I trust McClay to do what he does, and weigh value across the spectrum to find some nuggets to help.

I'll need to see more "good Jerry" before I'm comfortable with his GM oversight and, even though he's trending in the right direction, it should have never taken that long to fix the freaking OL or to understand how important it is. Sheesh.

I just do not think Dallas will be a big player in players like a Suh. I could see them making a move on Fairley but I do not see any major splash being made outside of our own which will be quite expensive. The main key will be the draft where there is some very good DL prospects

Let's not go overboard with the Jerry love just because the team performed above everybody's, inlcuding his, expectations. And he was named Poobah of the year. It was a joint effort by the front office from him down to the scouting department and everyone in between. Jerry even went against his own natural instincts and struck gold.-----That reminds me of the Seinfeld episode when George decides to do everything opposite of what he normally woiuld do----and it worked.

So there you have it, Jerry is George Costanza. Grand Poobah, hope he continues working with his staff and agreeing to those decisions.

It has been a group effort for a long time, Jerry hired these people they did not just walk in and hire themselves. I fully agree it is a joint effort and it has at times be a joint failure but when it has been a failure Jerry is who we point the finger out and rightfully so, but now that he has some people in place and these moves are panning out you damn right he deserves the credit. I don't think that is going overboard I think it is fair and consistent. For years when players pan out people have said well that was so and so pick and when a player fails that was Jerry. Fact is all picks are Jerry he has final say and those who are out scouting and coaching were hired by Jerry

So if your wife cheated on you for 20 years straight and then just this year said she was done you'd trust her to?
