The better OL talent is in round 2. You can get TE's and RB's in round 3/4 this year.

Does blocking ability help? Sure, but I'm not looking for a TE who can be the 6th OL. I want a TE who can catch the ball and be just good enough to get in the way when called upon. If Dallas is going to go for a TE, they better get one who's best attributes are catching the ball and moving the sticks.

We need a good receiving TE that can be a security blanket for Dak. A real chain mover who can make some plays down the field. I’ll be disappointed if we don’t take one in the second round.

Wrong, that’s not what they need that’s what Dak needs and he needs a a whole lot more than just TE. We hear excuses all the time about the line and not giving him long enough, then we hear about no WR separation, then we hear about all the other excuse. What we never hear is Dak and him being accountable to his own deficiencies. We’ve kicked this can long enough and need to sure up areas that don’t rely on Dak for anything more than being a bud driver.

They need what their QB needs this upcoming season to be successful and make their offense explosive. All the Cowboys championship teams had terrific receiving TEs. If you want to turn this into a Dak bash opportunity, I’m not interested!
