We won’t get past Aaron Rodgers or Tom Brady if the defense doesn’t get better. Our pass rush isn’t good enough and we give up too many big plays.

It will be up to our offense to overcome. The defense is bad for nearly everyone. We have an advantage on defense against both of those teams defensively too.

Dallas is a better team and there is no reason to lose because of our defense to those teams. If they want to win they need to overcome weakness like those 2 guys do.

I think we are locked in with the 4 seed and hosting the Rams in the 1st round of the playoffs.

We really dont want that. I don't anyway.

We have an easy enough division where we should be able to win enough games to get to at least the three.

Maybe SF and Sea can hang some losses on LA and Ari....

Man we have to be able to overcome having to play the West runner up in the first round. That's rough.

I think you mentioned the Ari game meaning quite a bit and you're probably right.

All this assumes #4 can play all games. If not we will be lucky to sneak in at all.

While we might look like a contender I’m not sure how we can declare we are a proven contender until we become one like Green Bay, Tampa and LA.

And why I’m also hesitant in placing AZ in that discussion either.

Of course it is too early to be talking playoff matchups but I am anyway.

There is just something about this season that will not be complete if we do not face them in the playoffs.

First, we have the hold Rodgers has had over the Cowboys in the playoffs.

Next, we have the redemption and revenge of McCarthy against his old team that sent him packing and promptly went to back to back NFCCG.

But that's not really it. Rodgers is my second least favorite player in my history of watching the game, right behind vick.

Aarongance Rodgers and those closeups and that smugness makes me want to hit him in the face with an iron skillet. Then there's the fact that he really is a great QB to further infuriate me. vick was totally overrated, Rodgers is not and he is the most accurate passer I have ever seen play.

I know some would prefer to avoid them with our history but not me, I want the Packers in the playoffs. With the way AZ, TB, GB and LAR are playing, there isn't going to be an easy path to the SB anyway so I want us to exorcise that Packer playoff demon for this team and this HC. I love redemption games.

Please, no need to tell me I am putting the cart before the horse, I just want the cart to run over that horse's ***.

If we go into that game and pressure rogers we would blow them out. Every time we play them once we start to pressure him he gets frustrated. But maranelli would back off.

Our defense was always going to get better as the season goes on.

If our defense isn’t good enough now then it probably never will be.

It’s up to the offense to score more points. Even against the Bucs our offense should’ve scored more with the Turnovers they had.

Asking a defense to shut down Brady or Rodgers is just no realistic. It’s time for the offense and all of the major investments to overcome an elite QB.

Im looking right at Dak too. We want to all boast about how great he is and how elite he is and MVP this and comeback player that. Go beat some real teams in the post season because your currently equipped with the best Roster in the NFC if not the entire NFL.
