Our defense was always going to get better as the season goes on.

If our defense isn’t good enough now then it probably never will be.

It’s up to the offense to score more points. Even against the Bucs our offense should’ve scored more with the Turnovers they had.

Asking a defense to shut down Brady or Rodgers is just no realistic. It’s time for the offense and all of the major investments to overcome an elite QB.

Im looking right at Dak too. We want to all boast about how great he is and how elite he is and MVP this and comeback player that. Go beat some real teams in the post season because your currently equipped with the best Roster in the NFC if not the entire NFL.

We saw against New England and a rookie QB that the defense hasn’t gotten better. We’ve been giving up multiple chunk plays in every game all season. Our D is certainly better than last season but there’s holes that a great QB will take advantage of. We can get better once DLaw and Neville Gallimore return. Tristan Hill may be able to provide something upfront. We’re simply not going to get over the hump if we continue having to depend on our offense scoring 30+. It’s an absolute must that our pass rush gets better. Tom Brady’s and Aaron Rodgers kryptonite has been a strong consistent pass rush.

Ive learned my lesson and want no part of GB even though on paper we should smash them.

I'm not confident this Quinn defense matches up well with Rodgers.

we're still at the bottom of the league in sacks, and for whatever reason we've always had issues rushing Rodgers
by that time we'd hope to have Dlaw, a more developed Gregory and Osa, ..and i'd have to see how Gallimore and Hill are
when they finally do return, as they are still short on game experience and development.

The Packers can race with us in a track meet. They can holster up with us in a scoring shootout.

Teams like Niners (vs run) and last year Bucs have did a number on the Packers defense in playoffs, which has failed and collapsed on them 2 years Str8.

But this roster doesn’t have much successful experience in playoffs . And haven’t appeared in 3 years.

I certainly wouldn’t put that up against any of the top teams in NFC except AZ.

There is just something about this season that will not be complete if we do not face them in the playoffs.

First, we have the hold Rodgers has had over the Cowboys in the playoffs.

Next, we have the redemption and revenge of McCarthy against his old team that sent him packing and promptly went to back to back NFCCG.

But that's not really it. Rodgers is my second least favorite player in my history of watching the game, right behind vick.

Aarongance Rodgers and those closeups and that smugness makes me want to hit him in the face with an iron skillet. Then there's the fact that he really is a great QB to further infuriate me. vick was totally overrated, Rodgers is not and he is the most accurate passer I have ever seen play.

I know some would prefer to avoid them with our history but not me, I want the Packers in the playoffs. With the way AZ, TB, GB and LAR are playing, there isn't going to be an easy path to the SB anyway so I want us to exorcise that Packer playoff demon for this team and this HC. I love redemption games.

Please, no need to tell me I am putting the cart before the horse, I just want the cart to run over that horse's ***.

The Cowboys defense right now is really good for modern day standards. It’s not some weakness. It’s been just as big over this stretch of wins as any aspect of the team.

I am exactly the opposite and those 90's games against the Niners were special, I would have felt cheated if we didn't play them.

You play golf, don't you? Familiar with the term "cup hunter"? These people shade their handicaps to play against the lesser competition so they can win trophies only they are cheaters. They cheat themselves out of measuring themselves against the best because they fear on measuring up.

You are never going to know how the big dog's food tastes if you avoid going to his bowl.

Now, the question will arise are they the team to beat so the Cowboys might not be facing the best but because of the Cowboys history with him and them, I want to face him when it counts the most.

There are 5 teams in the NFC that I think are really close: AZ, TB, DAL, LAR and GB and January is a long way off. AZ is the only one of those we'll face before then and we are 0-1 against that field as of today.

the pass rush has been pretty solid imo. getting tank back will only improve that aspect (along with galimore hopefully) and parson's is obviously still the x factor there. big plays are a definite achilles though
