mox·ie Audio pronunciation of "moxie" ( P ) Pronunciation Key (mks)
n. Slang

1. The ability to face difficulty with spirit and courage.
2. Aggressive energy; initiative: “His prose has moxie, though it rushes and stumbles from a pent-up surge” (Patricia Hampl).
3. Skill; know-how.

I don't see how this applies to Romo...

We need to bring in another QB with game experience. Chances are Bledsoe will need relief by mid-season, and neither backup we have now is capable of doing so.

I really hope Henson will be our next great QB. But I do not want him to start yet. He still needs work. I will be happy just to see him get 1 quarter of play in each of these last 2 games in preseason. Then when we have games that it is pretty much over and there are only 5 to 10 minutes left in the 4th quarter. Get Henson in for that time. If he is showing some real improvement and if we have already won the division then let him start the last game.

If our season is going nowhere maybe let him start the last 2 games.

He is not ready now. We need to see improvement.

BP is moving him along at the right pace.

We've waited TOO TOO long since losing Aikman.

So let Henson start the next game, I DID see a tiny bit of hope in the Seahawks game. We all know what Bledsoe is capable? of (bangs head on wall)and we got a shiny new toy in Romo so let's give Henson a chance to show us what he has. No more excuses. If he sux, then cut him!

After all it's pre-season...isn't this the time to see what your players got?

I want to give him another shot too. Either he pulls his head out of his you know what, or he keeps giving away his read. The guy needs to settle down. It's like he's never been in a big game before. Doesn't seem like he handles pressure well.

Prove me wrong ******. This team is looking like it could gel. We need to see good things from the back ups. Henson and Romo.

I'd like to see both of them start the last two games ... but logic tells you that won't happen. Bledsoe needs to get settled in.

Your girlfriend has sideline tickets? LOL

Funniest post you've ever made, Doomsday.

I guess I'll have to wait 8,000 posts from you till I see another one.

You haven't been paying attention. And I doubt Bill would offer those compliments to a player if it wasn't warranted.

It's crucially important for Bledsoe to get all the work he can this preseason. He's a vet, but he needs to develop chemistry within our system.

yada, yada, yada...I'll buy him a darn chemistry set!

We can sacrifice a HALF of football, can't we? Bledsoe has played in REAL GAME CONDITIONS for what, 14 plus years? And he performs like this! OMG!

The thing is: WE KNOW WHAT BLEDSOE BRINGS TO THE TABLE...losing out on what, 20-25 plays, is not going to impair his ability to progress at all.

He needs to work on getting his footwork down, sensing the oncoming rush, TURNING ON THAT DARN 3 SECOND BUZZER in his brain and stop playing patty-cake with the ball!

He can do that in practice!

Put Bledsoe in second, Romo last.

We need to know NOW whether to dump Henson or not!

No way!

I am by no means a Henson basher, and I am rooting for him, but it is VERY clear he is not close to ready.

Henson can only do I thing right now, which is to stare at his first read and throw it there. That is it. Henson has an arm, is accurate at times, has some mobility, but if you watch him try to go through progressions, he does not do it.

That is why he had so many throw aways the first game. He just locked on to a WR, and if it was not there he got rid of it.

This clearly shows he is not mentally there and used to the speed of the game.

A first string defense would eat him apart.

I really hope someday he is the answer, I really do, but now the only place he should be starting is NFL Europe.

I agree. For a guy who has a 42 wonderlic score, you wonder why he just doesn't get it.

My thoughts........Henson Should be our #3 guy. We saw him start last year, he sucked. We saw him in the last pre season game, he sucked. A tiny bit of hope is nothing to base your starter on. If all he shows us is a tiny bit of hope, he shouldnt even be the 3 guy. I remember last year, when he finished that one game going 6 of 6 and a TD (i hink). Everyone and their brother were drolling over him. As soon as the chicago game was over with, everyone hate him. I think he doesnt know enough about football, and he cant throw a consistent ball to save his life.

Peyton Manning went 3-13 his first season as a starter. They had Harrison at that point. He wasn't good either. And he played 4 years of college ball. Henson didnt.
