One fifth Rounder, Aaron Jones. That's it. Obvious the most productive backs are in the 1st and 2nd rounds. But keep cooking with your late round back myth.
Here are the backs with more TD's than Zeke, the last two are tied with Zeke:
TD's
Jamaal Williams 4th
Derick Henry 2nd
Nick Chubb 2nd
Ezekiel Elliott 1st
Josh Jacobs 1st *
Miles Sanders 2nd *
As we can tell 3RB's have more TD's than Zeke:
1st - 2
2nd - 1
4th - 1
So please explain where all these 5th round RB's that are a dime a dozen that can replace Zeke.
Please don't start with the argument that Zeke is taking Pollards TD's. Pollard is taking Zeke's carries so it even's out. If Zeke had his normal load he would be over 1k easy and most likely haveing his 2nd best year overall maybe even pushing for his best year.
Remember Zeke had to bulk up for the pounding that he was taking not just from all the rushes but blocking as well. What do you think is going to happen to Pollard once he gets the full time Job? He's already missed games due to injury with only a light load. he is going to have to bulk up. He is a dynamic back, he is someone you want to get in space. But you need a complementary back like Zeke with him. They are both in a great situation. I hope they both see it and decide to keep it together. So please stop with the lazy arguement that you can get a back in the late round to replace Zeke. Its just not true. Please stop using outliers to justify your arguement.
