Interesting that you leave of the two most important stats for RBs. Rushing TDs and rushing yards. Pollard is not top 5 in either category. He's a very good back with a specific role.

Pollard has more overall tds than Zeke does also.

And he doesn't get many goal line opportunities either.

Pollard has to run all his tds in from the 10+ yard line.

And he's also the better receiving back. Kick returner etc etc etc

Zeke's longest run all year is a whopping 27 yards. He may be the worst rb in the league in that stat

But he can sure punch that ball in from the 1-2 yard line

I know everyone is always trying to get rid of him but he has done his job and has done it well!

I love 21 and I hope he comes back next year

Starting to think Pollard is going to be the hard one to sign. Zeke coming back is going to happen as long as he’s realistic about his new reduced worth.

I think Pollard is now the guy with franchise tag written all over him. And it’s ironic that the tag could go down because of his partner.

Paragraph 1: If you watch the plays Pollard gets stuffed on goaline, Zeke wouldn't have scored either. I can only think of one time Pollard picked the wrong hole. There's stats, then there's what you see.

Paragraph 2: Again, you even said there weren't many holes for Pollard. He also had a 4 yard loss, not his fault. Zeke saw better holes imo, but overall I don't see how you can knock TP. Especially when he can just give you 10 yards a catch in the passing game if teams are stopping the run. No RB is good without blocking this isn't exclusive to TP. The notion that Pollard is a weak RB his false.

Stats amongst RBs:
*Pollard is 2nd in the NFL in average yards per carry. (Zeke 31st)
*Pollard 2nd in the NFL in yards after contact.
*Pollard 3rd in the NFL in Big runs (Zeke 17).
* Pollard 3rd in the NFL in yards per catch.

Paragraph 3: What's not true? Are you Zeke is better than Pollard in 2022?

They keep talking about Zeke is gonna have to agree to a pay cut. Ha ha ha

If ZEKE was as great as the way they talk about him why does he have to take a pay cut??? Ha ha ha

How about getting Pollard to agree to play behind Zeke for 4 more years

Why would a Pro bowl rb agree to play underneath a washed up RB that's not even close to his level for another year???

He'd be sdupid not to find his way out of town on the first bus because this team has a power back mentality

Lil Tony is too little to play more snaps like Cole Beasley or he'll prolly get hurt. Lol
The guy that dominated snapcounts in Buffalo and had very few injuries ha ha ha

Just sit out and watch them lose every game with those rinky dink 3 yard runs by Zeke and you'll get everything ya want TP.

If they franchise tagged
me I'd fumble every ball and drop every pass until they traded me ha ha ha

I'd go to a team where I could see more action as a full time player and build my own brand TP

You're only gonna get a part time ROLE here in a next man up philosophy team

You got that Pro Bowl Status.

Use it to find a better Role

We can't turn Pollard into Derek Henry and make a square peg fit into a round hole . He'll never be the prototype RB like Dorsett, Emmitt, or a prime Zeke

Anybody that wants TP is gonna have to adapt their offense to fit his skillsets. Like using 2 rb formations like a NO style of offense.

Whereas we try to make our players try to fit the the same neverchanging next man up scheme

It's the same run it (and control the clock) until ya "have" to pass it strategy every week.

We always have great talent but it's hard to win playing w the same personell groups and tic tac toe strategy for 20 years straight.

Build the scheme around the talent Not the talent around the scheme

Weve got 2-3 non factor tes dominating snapcounts as if they're part of some winning scheme and formula. Lmao

But weve only scored 2 playoff tds by a te since 95'

John Phillips caught a 1 yard playoff td pass in 2009

And #82 caught a 6 yard playoff TD pass against Gb in 2016 (Lost)

If we're looking to get Pollard our best skilled player on the team more involved than just 50% of the time we could cut back on some of those inept Te passing snaps and leave both rbs on the field more often js

These 3 TD a year scrub tes couldn't catch a playoff TD if there was a $50 million dollar Bounty on it!!! Ha ha ha ha

It took the "First ballot Hof'er" 57 targets in 8 playoff games to get 1 playoff TD in 15+ years and we still Think it's part of some great winning formula.

And who thinks Schultzkowski is better than #82??? Lol

And y'all wonder why we 0-8 and haven't won a Road Playoff Game in 30 years.

Who thinks Pollard is more likely to Score a Playoff td than any of these tes???

I dooooo!!!!!

I'd rather see Pollard lined up as a receiver than any wr or te in this on this team not named Cee Dee Lamb

Anything is better than him being on the bench 50% of the time Kellen Moore

He's better than Your #2 wr who goes cold for 5-6 games but you leave him out there

Ya leave a bunch of players out there on the field that are scrubs while your Pro Bowler is on the BENCH

WAKE UP!!!

Id offer him the Vet Minimum while we break in the New rookie

But only if he doesn't blow it in the playoffs again for the 3rd straight time.

Might not have any other choice if Pollard is a UFA during the season end. Pollard will have options to sign with other teams if he does not get injured during the rest of the season. He can run from scrimmage and is a pass catching threat. The Cowboys will try hard to resign him but a few other teams will be in the mix and his price will be high.

Zeke is way better than Pollard but I do like Pollard
Best thing about Zeke is Pollard, and probably vice versa.
Best 1-2 punch at RB Cowboys have had in decades, have to go research now, but would be a great topic on best tandem RBs in Cowboys history.
Herschel Walker and Tony Dorsett probably/maybe for their brief time together in the same backfield, but Zeke and Pollard are both actually benefitting
from each other.
We shouldn't worry about the comparison between the two but recognize instead the impact of having both sharing this backfield together.
It's truly a beautiful thing taking place.

I can see it.. you can see it.. but for some reason there is a segment of this fan base that refuses to see it. I don't get it. Oh and when you're looking for backfield duos don't forget about the two years we had Chris Warren paired with Emmitt.. I think it was '98 and '99. Those were two absolute ballers.. I think Warren even put up a 100 yard game while Emmitt was out after breaking his hand in that Monday night game after Sweetness died. I think he was about to hang a 300 yard game on the Vikings that night. Didn't he have like 160 yards and 2 TDs in the first half? He was running like a man possessed that night. The Vikings had no answer for him.. I really think he was on his way to 300..

well FT him, if he gets plucked for more than hes worth you get b nice draft compensations and Mailk steps up draft anther RB mid rounds, 2-4 , i mean apparently Rb easiest position to replace right away as most Rbs are NFL ready and dime a dozen according to this place.:omg:,. remember never overpay a RB??

I do as well, at the right price. However if only one can be kept then I go with Pollard and draft a running back.

The "right price" is roughly 1/5 of what his contract is now.

If he's down for that, absolutely.
