2006: 9-0 Colts

2007: 6-2 Giants, 10-1 Packers

2008: 1-0 Eagles, 2-0 Packers, 11-2 Giants

2009: 4-1 Falcons, 5-2, Eagles, 13-0 Saints, 11-4 Eagles, 11-5 Eagles

2010: 2-0 Texans

2011: 1-0 49ers, 2-0 Commanders, 5-3 Bills,

2012: 7-5 Bengals

2013: None

2014: 1-0 Titans, 3-1 Texans, 3-1 Seahawks

That’s 19 wins against teams above .500 so I’m pretty sure wherever you read that stat was wrong or maybe you read it wrong.

A better question is why were you eating a fish sandwich on Thanksgiving, the feast day of all feast days?

But to add further confusion, is it final record or record at time of game?

Uh.......no?

Just off the top of my head, I can already cite many more than six. Over the course of his career, Romo beat the 13-0 Saints, 9-0 Colts, 7-5 Bengals, 5-2 Eagles, 11-4 Eagles, 11-5 Eagles, 4-1 Falcons, 2-0 Commanders, 2-0 Texans and 3-1 Seahawks. I'm sure he has many more wins, but those are ten right there. 10 > 6.

That's more than six wins against better-than-.500 teams.

ah but I bet they will say those teams weren't over .500 at end of the season ergo they weren't wins against teams over .500. They continue to make up stats to rip Tony undeservedly

There's also the 1-0 49'ers in 2011. That was the game where Romo hit Holley for the 77-yard pass in OT...returning after fracturing his ribs & puncturing his lung. That was SF's only home loss of the year. They didn't lose again period until week 12...went 13-3...and made if to the NFC championship.

Neither would be correct. He had seven wins against teams that finished with winning records just in the 2006-2008 seasons. I didn't bother checking the six seasons since then, since that obviously wasn't it, either.

It's his "schtick". I get the impression that he feels he's being clever and funny, but he's wrong on both counts.

i thought it was the best troll attempt ive seen in awhile. Id give him 3 gold star stickers myself.

Given that Dallas went 4-2 with Romo starting in 2007 against teams above .500 and 3-5 in 2008 I am sure it's wrong based on those two years alone (since he had 7 wins (you can add the others everyone else noted and it is incredibly wrong)).

I quit after that year since I passed the 6 wins.

2007: Giants (2), Commanders, Packers
2008: Eagles, Bucs, Giants

thx, Irish.

If someone here recorded the game on his VCR and look for that stat in the 4th quarter, maybe that would clear it up.
Someone? Anyone?

I did what Garrett did and erased that game before it was even over.

I think this might help. I posted this last November.

We keep hearing about the Cowboys record in November and I decided to look back on the teams this team has faced since 2008. I have posted the scores of the games we played along with the record of the teams we faced. I believe the Cowboy's can beat the Saint's tonight but unfortunately history is not on our side. Since 2008 this team has beaten only 4 teams with a winning record in November. 3 of those 4 wins came against division opponents. I am keeping my fingers crossed for a victory tonight.

Good work, says a lot about how we've been rebuilding since 2010....
