I was hoping that I wouldn’t have to be the one to say it. Refs paid or bias?

So with Jerry picking a fight with the NFL, especially with Blank. I couldn’t help but notice all of the flags that stayed in the refs pockets. I would love if someone was actually able to capture all of the facemask penalties that weren’t called. I am the furthest thing from an conspiracy theorist but No matter how much I tried to ignore it another non call would pop up. Take Dez and Williams being tackled while running their routes. Am I the crazy one here?

Only 7 teams have fewer penalties called against them per game than the Cowboys.

See NBA referee scandal that was only recently exposed and supposedly "fixed". I don't rule out anything where humans, money and power are involved, regardless of office. The NFL has shown us their colors. Corruption is everywhere. So to answer your question, yes I do believe there is some bias against the Cowboys and probably $$$$ is involved.

No bias here.....

Indeed. Refs have never missed a call by accident. Obviously, it's bias.

I have seen some horrible officiating across the league this year. The refs are either blind or can’t see.

Oh, brother. Yeah, the refs cost us this game. Couldn't have been Chaz "Turnstile" Green, Mike "Doink" Nugent, one scoring drive of a measly 21 yards.

Nah, it was those damn dirty refs.

Who are you arguing with here? None of the posts before yours should lead to these kind of arguments.

If Jerry wants to block Goddell from getting a new contract and accuse other owners of lying and threaten to sue the league, well what the hell did you think was going to happen?

Expect no calls from the refs who get their paychecks from the league office.

It’s like poking a bear a wondering why he just mauled you. You think Goddell is just going to go quietly? Walk away from $40 million a year?

Expect this one sided officiating to continue

Exactly, look at boxing as well. People act like its far fetched but it happens. Like I said before conspiacy or bias call it what you want. Its becoming too big of a coincidence when it happens weekly.

That was legit, yeah. It's a call that a lot of times goes your way, but it wasn't a phantom call. He was trying to free himself from handsy coverage, for sure, but he's at a disadvantage in that situation, and it got him.

It was a great playcall, by the way.
Nice arm on Jones too.

Very poor time to start talking about the Refs. Sounds like your blaming the loss on that even if you dont state it directly. While everyone else is talking about how horrid some players played and the coaches coached, your main focus is the refs. Seems out of place.
As I said. Myself and others were discussing the refs in the same way after our last two wins last week.

Players played bad. Coaches coached bad. Theoretically that can be changed. What seems like a bias is out of anyone associated with the team’s control. The refs have played a major part in our last two playoff losses with poor calls and use of a rare and archaic rule.

The no holds thing is deserving of the attention imo. Couple that with the no facemasks calls and hits to the helmet and previously we were called for roughing Erin for attempting the hit him in the head and missing. It’s hard to accept and frustrating.

Has been for a long time. Explains how our doofus in New York, Eli, has two rings. How Steelers and Seahawks have been allowed to do stuff on D when other teams are flagged for nothing, etc. It's all a rigged and corrupt show.

and why we always lose to green bay in obviously fixed ways :banghead:

I don't think outcomes of games are fixed, but I do think there is a directive to call things tight against the Cowboys and loose against their opponents. It's probably been that way for a while, but even more now and I'm sure in the future. There's no fun watching a game where teams aren't competing on a level playing field. It doesn't matter to me anymore whether the fault lies with JJ or the NFL or a mixture of both.

Penalties per game:

Cowboys = 6.2
Cowboys Opponents = 5.9

There's no evidence of this "pay off" or "bias", unless your idea of a fairly called game is 20 penalties on our opponent and none on the Cowboys.

I'm not a believer in the grassy knoll or Sasquatch, but I do smell something afoul with the refs this year....pathetic.

I might be crazy with this idea, but I believe there only two ways the bias against the Cowboys will stop. One, Jerry Jones steps down as GM and turns it over to Stephen or a respected GM type like in the Charly Casserly vein. Two, Jerry hires a revered coach who would be given immediate respect everywhere like a Nick Saban. The franchise isn't respected anymore anywhere. J. Garrett has never commanded respect. The Patriots hold all the time and still do those illegal pick plays, but because of Belichick and Brady and the respect the Patriots have, they get all the calls. Just like Jordan and big-time NBA stars. Same principle.

No one is saying the refs cost the game. The Boys sucked today. But the refs sucked too. It's getting to be embarrassing how bad the officiating has become.
Anyone saying that the officiating didn't cost the Cowboys the game doesn't understand how momentum plays a huge part in football games. A few bad call against the same team kills momentum and give it to the opposition. Just watch just about any Super Bowl the Steelers won and tell me I am wrong.

I hate that concept, but I said it about ten times on Sunday.

I don't know, but you see it every week throughout the league. It's almost like they're not being held to a standard of excellence anymore. Most likely Goodell has something to do with it, from hiring piss poor management, that he doesn't hold accountable.
