If it wasn’t for Prescott, for the last five seasons, we would be in the same wreck. He is the only thing good about this offense. If you didn’t realize it yesterday, you just don’t understand what’s happening just like everybody else. The masses are usually always wrong.

Yeah people not wanting to admit that Dak has been hiding the warts on this team are in for a rude awakening over these next few weeks. I fully expect them to get trounced by the Texans next week and then lose again at the Commanders, though I still maintain they are paper tigers. I'm not even sure this team can beat the Giants on "Invite the Native Americans to dinner then slaughter them day."

Lance should get every snap the rest of the way. But he needs a offense similar to the 2016 involving alot of movement. If he fails we draft a QB.
IF he shows promise we trade out of the first and stockpile picks for next year incase he doesnt develop.
Dak can: Fight for his job and lose it or retire w/ injury settlement .
Unless Jerry is tanking in purpose, he needs to fire MM, promote Zimmer to interim HC, and let Shott OC slowly install plays for Lance.

I'm sure if you retire all the "guaranteed" money dries up. But that doesn't apply to the salary cap. If Dak retires his cap hit would probably be like 100 million dollars next year. No matter how much people hate Dak, anyone cheering for Dak to retire clearly hates the Cowboys too.

This doesn’t mean I think Dak is a good quarterback because I don’t think he is!! However as a man I can admit when I was wrong and I’ll happily eat my crow. I think I desperately wanted a savior so I latched to whoever was next on the depth chart, so I was hoping for a miracle with Cooper Rush.

This just means one thing. Our QB1 and QB2 both stink and our team is running out of answers. Starting Trey Lance might be our only option left and even he probably sucks too!

Dak is a good QB just not a great one Rush is a back up for life for a reason
