LOL!The fact you act like Temple’s area is somewhat the typical area for Philly again calls into question your credibility.
Temple is a bad area for sure but nothing like downtown, Old City, etc.
I’ll discount what you are saying. Lived in the area for 40 years. Worked in the city for 15, attended high school in the city, lived in the city for a few years as well and spent a lot of time in Old City, Rittenhouse and blossoming areas like Brewery Town, Northern Liberties.
It has its bad spots and really good spots. Like most cities it has its crime issues. But to act like it’s a dangerous town and you can’t walk anywhere without having a major crime committed against you is BS
You can discount all you want it doesn't make you any more credible than anyone else, in fact less so. You seem to think what you say is gospel, and holier than thou. Guess what buddy, it's not.
I'll have to discount what you're saying? LOL.
If you live in, or near Philly I'm not talking to you anyway. I'm talking 2 those that might go there, and giving them my experience so hopefully they can avoid the dangers we experienced over the decades.
I suggest a quick Google search of crime, and Philly when you visit the city just so you know what you're getting into. You don't have to believe me, or guys like you that seems to want to discount the dangers to promote the city for some odd reason.
As I was typing this another person was stabbed at the Philly transit hub. Just another day.
