the day ends with Jordan Shipley becoming a Dallas Cowboy.

I have said time and time again we don't need a WR unless his name is Jordan Shipley and I stand true to that. He will become a star WR in this league. He will become the force next to Miles Austin/Ogletree/Shipley or Austin/Shipley/Ogletree to lead us into the 3rd dynasty.

it really isnt likely like hos said but there is a slight chance(very slight) i think once he gets to the combine he will shoot up boards cause ppl are saying he isnt 6 foot which he is and he will show his speed and has amazing hands i would love him becoming a cowboy

I definitely haven't ruled it out & would love for that to happen myself! However, I need to see what we do in free-agency before I even try to put my mock draft up and/or lose hope in the Shipley to Dallas scenario...

He would be a great addition for this club for sure.

But I doubt this franchise will put a premium on kr or pr.

He is exactly what we need though.

That's a very narrow way to view a draft, but to each his own. I won't be happy if we come out of the draft with 25 developmental players again like last year and then proceed to cut half of them.

Last thing we need is another Longhorn WR.:banghead::bang2:

Where he played college football doesn't matter. What matters is his skill set and how it would work here and it's a perfect fit.

sometimes it does matter. how does the school prepare the players mentally affects everything. how is the player used to be utilized on the field compared to what is expected of him on the NFL level. It is another game going from college to the NFL, the schools do matter and its something scouts should take into consideration. Not all coaching staffs preps these kids correctly.

I agree... Im a UT fan and I think were very, very soft...Most of our players that go pro have lackluster careers.. Besides Benson they never get in trouble either... But none of them seem to be the intense leader type.....

How long are you planning to hold on to that dream?

The chances are better than great that you're not going to be happy then because it's doubtful the Cowboys come out with a starter out of this draft.

By the way, the ratio was 1/4th, not half. Cowboys drafted 12 players, cut 3, 9 made the team. If you check around, that's probably on par ( in terms of ratio ) with most contending teams, if not ALL teams, around the league.

Let's see what happens in two years before judging last year's draft.

if you were really a UT fan you would realize that most of the UT players go on to have solid, lengthy NFL careers. yes they have their busts, just like so many other schools, but they produce quite a few productive players. please do your research before you go making silly statements.

Country club school. I'm pretty sure Texas is who Parcells was talking about when he made that comment.

im pretty sure that makes no sense what-so-ever.

There is a lot of quality players in the NFL from Texas and if you don't see that then pull your head out.
