actually he only threw for 36 td's with 19 ints(under a 2:1 ratio, eww). rivers is having a better year this year than romo had last year with much worse wr's and bad play from the rb.

Last year was 36 TD's to 19 INt's, misprint on my behalf minimally but don't forget over 4000 yards of passing and a 13 win season. There are a good amount of QB's in the history of this league that have won MVP awards with those statistics. By the way, I never said it was a 2:1 ratio and it's close enough to that ratio regardless.

You like Rivers and say he doesn't have an offense to do anything with? That team has been top 5 in offense for quite some time now and if you look at Rivers first 41 games of work the numbers are dominated by Romo's first 41 games. Rivers is having a very good season, absolutely. You say the RB isn't playing well but 75% of that legendary RB is better than 90% of the league and he always has to be accounted for. LT and Antonio Gates are no slouches and each considered top 2 at their positions. Chambers is no slouch either. Don't even get into the o-line with me. Even worse, Rivers plays in a defenseless division that is totally inferior to the NFC East.

Rivers is having such a way better season than Romo playing 15 games while Romo played 12? TD's they are on the same pace if you ammortorize by games played only because Rivers just got off of a 4 TD game. INT's Romo is up 2 and rivers is more efficient there. Romos has a 94.8% QB rating while Rivers currently has a 104%. Both very high standards, Rivers exceptional in that regard. The yards with the 3 game difference Romo would be up by a game and a halfif you ammortorize it. Now wins, Romo is up there, do wins count especially in a much tougher division?

You can't give Rivers a serious deep threat as a WR anyways because his arm is limp just like Bress past 35 yards. They are both the same QB. Now Tony Romo isn't Brett the canon Favre either but he can make all of the throws, these 2 are known not to be able to. It shows in the yards per pass play too. Romo slaughters both of them and every other starting QB the past 3 seasons. Brady and Manning included. I like to think Norv Turner and Sean Payton call a better offense than Garrett too.

Buddy don't get into these particulars with me for the sake of debating. Rivers is having a darn good season statistically and no one is doubting that, but Romo has close to that every year since he was starting. Take that limp arm 4th overall pick and put him behind Brees who is currently 4th on the overall QB chart. Romo before them both. Don't tell me Brees and Rivers dont have games where they throw picks all over the joint trying to get their team back in it. Don't tell me Rivers is having a way better season than Romo this year, nevermind career. It's not "way better" it's marginally better in a weaker division with just as much talent to create offense if not more.

I'm no biased fan for 1. I can't stand mistakes and sqwack when they happen. But looking around the league and seeing what other options are out there after the older Brady and P. Manning, no thank you. I'll keep Romo and have him put points up for this team. Don't tell me about T.O and RW, the guy is throwing to his TE if you haven't noticed after 15 games. Every time he gets at T.O the ballis dropped. This guy manages some of those errors and he's bigger than hitting oil and he's bigger than the gold rush. P.Manning was just like this his first 3 years. No excuses but historical occurences.

If you're sying Romo is average and the type of QB a team no team wants go watch another league please. Because at least 25 other teams would take this guy. Debate that too. Name me 7 QB's better than Romo. That's 32 - 25 = 7 because I know you need the clarification. Then do 32 - 27. If you can get that far on either we'll go to 32 - 29. Get ready to work hard.
