I wish Jerry would go ahead and scratch his RHG itch !

We should be a Romo friendly offense, so i can't fault JG for that.

I actually think he would hire some very good coordinators, but will they work under him?

I really want Dennis Thurman as a DC, but will he take the job under Jason?

hostile what is the truth?

you can't fault garrett for the offensive line being garbage?

WOW

Of course he will. If you've been following this team then you know that red balls turned down the HC job in Baltimore because he was promised an eventual HC job here if he remained as our OC.

Not a revelation really.

Hos, why is Jerry waiting? I can sort of understand it now that Romo is hurt, but why didn't Jerry make the change when we still had a shot. It was/is is obvious this team was/is going nowhere fast under Wade. Promoting Garrett at the bye week could have saved the season.

If Garrett was to be the next HC, it would have happened by now. Nope, a coach with skins is coming in;)

rejoice

He does not deserve to be head coach. If you are performing crappy at your job (regardless of who you are working with) do you get a promoted to management?

Nope, never.

Not saying he would not be a great HC. He's just not ready. He needs more time under another coach anyway. Get some more skins on the wall. He's too young and inexperienced.

You have a team ready to win now, and they're underachieving. Get a HC with skins on the wall that will provide accountability. Maybe even keep Garrett on staff to give him some more training and perspective. But promoting him after this mess would send a bad message to this team, especially since he is part of the mess.

Come on Hos. What is your take on why Jerry is waiting to promote Garrett.
Because he simply will not fire a Coach mid season. Jerry is not going to ever do that. It's his personality, values, or whatever he defines it as. He just won't do it.

I believe he is ready.

I think Jason Garrett will make a great coach.Just give him a chance.
I grantee you Jerry Jones will make this team a Jason Garrett friendly.so you will see a lot of moving parts end of the season.

Cool, so he'll finally have some say.

Does this mean the offense will get fixed?

Jason Garrett is in charge of the offense, and the offense has been the biggest problem on our team.

i beg to differ.

I don't think any one has answered "why" yet.

Down in the trenches, where contests are won and lost.We all know the goal of the offensive line is to afford the quarterback and the runners the time and space to produce numbers.Fix the offensive line woes to truly judge his offense .

Yes JG is in charge of the offense but I darn sure wouldn't call it a problem. The HC is in charge of the mentality of the team and the focus and discipline of the team. JG has done well with the offense under the soft conditions that the HC allows. It all starts with the HC....

Mansta is going hard in the paint with statements of fact today.

And this will be yet another colossal mistake in a long line of colossal mistakes made by the worst GM/Owner in the league.
