I would fire McCarthy and promote Quinn if we lose on Monday

Listen to Jayron Kearse's comments about Quinn at the 2:33 mark. He called him "heaven sent". I've heard several players speak very highly of Quinn in this fashion. He obviously has a very strong personal connection w/ the players. On the other hand, I've seen Dak struggle describing his relationship w/ McCarthy when asked about it by the media, and I've heard Micah say he doesn't talk w/ McCarthy much. I believe Kearse is the only one who has come out and openly praised McCarthy. Because of this dynamic, I trust Quinn w/ the keys more than McCarthy and wouldn't hesitate to make the switch if we lose on Monday. I don't care that the defense has fallen off late in the season, that has more to do w/ the injuries/personnel. Quinn is a true leader of men, I don't want to see this thing w/out him next season. Thoughts?

McCarthy should be fired if they lose for sure, however what if it's the defense that looks horrible and is the reason they lost? It's good players say nice things about him but if they don't perform who cares.
We have jags at CB2, interior dline, and lb units. Injuries and poor personnel have caught up with the defense. But this franchise has played poor defense for years and years prior to Quinn's arrival. Let's not forget that.

Leader of men? Quinn has 2 winning seasons out of 6 seasons as a HC. The other seasons have been around .500, also has one of the biggest choke jobs in history. Going from McCarthy to Quinn would be a downgrade

If they lose I would keep Big Mike and fire Quinn. How about that. Hire Vic Fangio and presto the defense won't tank for 6 straight games.

Some of those player will be back expect the CB2 position. A few months ago people were calling this defense great. It's now have struggled for at least 6 weeks. With most players back for Monday if they can't contain a very average offense then some of that will certainly be on Quinn.

If we lose on Monday then fire McCarthy and then hire the best head coach you can find.

If that is Dan Quinn fine. If not, keep him as DC.

McCarthy is a Super Bowl winning head coach with a phenomenal track record. His track record is just as good as Sean Payton’s, who people treat as a genius HC. In 16 years as a HC, McCarthy has made the playoffs 11 times, with 3 trips to the NFCCG.

Besides a SB appearance, Quinn does not have the track record. I wouldn’t fire McCarthy even if we lose on Monday.

Wade Phillips also had a good connection with the players
I mean, the players loved Garrett too.
Not like this. Their connection to the players was totally different. Wade was a players coach, a pushover. That's why the players liked him. Garrett is a weird case, he had a strong bond w/ a few "chosen" players, he never had a whole locker room ready to ride for him like Quinn does.

I guess the players didn't want to ride with him in Atlanta

Yes, but Quinn should be allowed to bring in his coaches and coordinaters......I dont want Boy Wonder hanging and 'Wondering' around anymore....

Jerry is a genius, 27 goin 28 years of failure yet McCarthy is being talked about being fired after lifting us out of the Garrett hell

What has Atlanta done since then or the 50 years prior to that in their organization's history?
I dont doubt hes a decent HC, i think the collapse had more to do with Matt Ryan than Quinn, but i just dont get firing off McCarthy, i think theres bigger issues than him we should look to if we lose monday.
