Well...how well record-wise have the Bears done over the years compared to Jerry's Cowboys? Not a better idea it that the bears ain’t that stupid. They ain’t run by Jerry Jones
Im not a jerry apologist or a Jerry supporter I can at times be a basher. I think hes a great owner and crappy GM. The cowboys have had alot of talent over the years if you want to give Jerry credit for that than so be it. I wont argue that. I think they have done well in spite of Jerry. I also will bring up that the bears have at least been in the super bowl the last 25 years we have not. So while youre pumping ole jerry over the bears I would ask what is your standard? If its wins then youre right. If its playoff success than ole jerry< bears management.Well...how well record-wise have the Bears done over the years compared to Jerry's Cowboys?
Jerry > Bears management
If Jenkins isn't coming here, why are you even commenting in this thread?Im not a jerry apologist or a Jerry supporter I can at times be a basher. I think hes a great owner and crappy GM. That being said the standard is neither and Jenkins isnt coming here
Im just responding to thread with some some reasonable thinking. something that seems to be lost on this site since the Tyron injury. You quoted me I responded with reason. you realized that what you said was not the most reasonable deduction and now this was your response. If Jenkins isn't coming here, why are you even commenting in this thread?
No, you've got no solution but to complain. Nothing reasonable about that.Im just responding to thread with some some reasonable thinking. something that seems to be lost on this site since the Tyron injury. Go figure!
LOl you know the solution. jerry has told you what they are going to do. If Tevon is so good at guard this mauler that you say again why would the bears who have an offensive line worse than ours trade him? It just dont make sense unless they feel Jerry is dumb enough to give them a 1st. It would appear that you would be more on the side of complaining although you have brought a solution. Im content with the cowboys direction until i see it fail on the field. Just take your L and move on.No, you've got no solution but to complain. Nothing reasonable about that.
Bears line sucks if he’s so good why get rid of him
ya your point is? surely youre not referring to them waiving him many years ago and dallas picking him upEver hear of Marc Columbo?
His point is you're wrong! So zip it and go complain elsewhere.ya your point is? surely your not referring to them waiving him many years ago and dallas picking him up
Moving guys around for a full season rarely worksPay attention. Zack is the best member of the OL and has previously stated several times that he has no interest in playing either LT or RT. He's the elder statesman and should not be pissed off.
You back for more abuse? what does Marc columbo in 2005 got to do with 2022 Bears situation? and the Tevin Jenkins situation? His point is you're wrong! So zip it and go complain elsewhere.

Why, specifically, are Chicago and this "mean" gem on the outs?On the NFL Network, Ian Rappoport just reported that Chicago might be willing to part with last years 2nd round pick, Tevin Jenkins, out of Oklahoma State.
He was drafted as a right tackle and is a very aggressive, mean player. I liked him because of his attitude but haven’t paid attention to him since he went to Chicago.
Apparently he’s not a great fit there because Rappoport said there is a chance that he’s outright released. That is news to me because he was a pretty highly rated prospect.
He’s interesting to me because he plays so strong and mean… and apparently the team has been looking for that toughness this whole offseason. However, I have zero knowledge of how he’s played at Chicago.
He definitely isn’t a LT, I don’t think, but he can play RT, possibly moving Steele to LT.
If they may be willing to release him, the cost shouldn’t be high and his toughness might interest the Cowboys.
Has anyone paid attention to him in Chicago? I know little of him since he was drafted last season.
Apparently, they’re not. I don’t know what Rappoport was thinking, but they aren’t getting rid of Jenkins. Why, specifically, are Chicago and this "mean" gem on the outs?
Go back and reread number 1 there is a huge difference in 2005 and now and what kind of shape the bears line was in then versus now. The bears were good enough to make the Super Bowl in 2007 so Columbo ( who was hurt) could be expendableNice backtrack.
First of all, Columbo was a Bear 1st round pick who was cut.
He went on to start at RT for Cowboys for multiple seasons.
The point is not how this Bear was acquired but your dig that Jenkins must not be any good because he "might" be available.
It was a moronic take and your back pedaling is equally weak.
This FO is not looking to give up any draft picks in acquiring their "depth" in the OL. The places they are looking are not on other teams' rosters but in dumpsters, trash bins, under rocks, and on living room couches. Just looking for warm bodies with a heart beat who once played the position in their lifetimes. Not exactly something to be encouraged about.
