i would love for a offseason like this. while i dont think any major changes will be made as theres already time and money and draft picks invested. some little tweaks might put this team over the top

Releases

i wouldnt mind Flo and henry being released. but i know that wont happen.

I think somebody gives Crayton more money then dallas. i can see him gone to being a teams #2

Fa signings

G Leonard Davis or Wayne Gandy
CB Randall Gay
RT Colombo
OL Tyson Walter
QB Tim Rattay

Day 1 Draft

1. Robert Meacham WR
2. Lamarr Woodley OLB
3. Kyle Young C/G

Crayton is a restricted FA and we will probably tender him at a 2nd roundc pick

any team signing him will owe us a draft choice that will probably scare them away

a team needing a automatic catch on 3rd down guy and a contender wouldnt mind i dont think. im saying just dont be suprised if dallas ends up losing him. crayton has some of the best hands in the league. and thats coming more into play these days. 1 name mike furrey.

if this offseason were to happen id probably want to kill myself.. youd want to release Adams who is still better than half the LT's in the league and pay him a huge amount to release him and replace him with players who arent even better than him? AND you want to release Henry whos 1 of the better 2nd CB's a team could have and replace him with.. gay?... ummm lets not hire you as GM... i dont think we can even let you play GM in madden.

yeah i guess unless u have fasano in on every play to babysit flo, u wouldnt have a problem. and if only henry could ever defelct a 3rd down pass u would be happy. go figure

Pretty much what Flo is anymore. Average. Maybe he will recover some more but who knows. He needs to restructure.

actually if Flozell is better than half the league, then there is no way half the league can be better than him.....almost half the league can though.....

32 teams....for Flozell to be better than half the LTs he would have to be ranked no lower than 16. That would make him better than 16 other LTs, but worse than 15 other LTs.....

semantics i know...just felt like being a wiseass...

BTW....Latin I wanted to get rid of Flo too, a while back, but I say keep him just one more year....give us time to groom his replacement.

whos talking about steak? name one player that i mentioned that will command big money? they're all just established young talent. flo is just on the decline. and the way teams are dreafting DE's now they're going for speed. and thats what eats flo alive

With the talent in this draft, no team is going to give up a 2nd or a 3rd for Crayton. He's not going anywhere.

Day 1 Draft

1. Robert Meacham WR
2. Lamarr Woodley OLB
3. Kyle Young C/G
I would pick one of the 'tweeners first. There's a greater chance a potential #1 receiver will be available in the 2nd than one of the good 'tweeners being avaible in the 2nd.

i can see that happening too. but i say if levi brown is there. cowboys jump on that and let flo go and have somebody else babysit him with a te. u cant keep these players forever. especially when they start to break down. thats what got dallas in this Ol mess in the first place in the late 90's. and it seems like jerry hasnt learned.

why draft another tweener when dallas has spent 1st rd picks on two tweeners in each of the last two yrs. carp i guess u can count him as a tweener type as he did play with his hand on the ground a little at osu.

dallas can have woodley or bazuin(sp) later int he draft. the linebackers are set in dallas. besides if dallas doesnt get younger and get depth on offense they arent going anywhere. u think owens and glenn and flo are getting younger? take owens out of the offense and rmo is average. take glenn out and romo is a little above average. take flo out, and u have 1 big mess. not that its all flowers with flo in there as he cant block speed. but u lose romo, season over. so i think priority should be O

I dont want Tyson Walter back....he had his time here...he is versatile, but not very good at any one position.

I would be happy with Leonard Davis and Tim Rattay though. I have a feeling we will get either Edwards, Polk, or Godfrey also.

thats the point dallas doesnt need him to be very good. they just need him to be serviceable. he's a good backup to have. and cheap. a better version would be to have wayne gandy. i think dallas has a better shot at godfrey, but i think akin and james are still the starters. so they might as well just sign fowler back

I'm just saying that with all the receivers in the draft, a couple really good receivers will likely be hanging around for our 2nd round pick. In any other years, those receivers would have been 1st rounders.

However, it may be that Woodley and all the other decent 'tweeners are gone by our pick in round 2.

Thus if your goal is to get a WR and an OLB, then I would go OLB in the 1st and WR in the 2nd.

It was a shame he got hurt last year and couldn't perform like he has in previous years.
