I watched that game live, I remember sitting at my uncles house watching the game and him giving me a hard time about the Cowboys. He wanted me to go with him to town and I told him after the game he said come on this game is over. I just looked at him and said as Long as Roger is back there we have a chance. He just laughed at me but I was the one laughing last.

Following Week Dallas was about to face the Rams in the NFC Championship game and 3 days before the game vs LA my dad told me he had 3 tickets to the SB talk about watching a game with great intensity.

The Oline actually tackled rushers on 2 of the last 3 plays.

Yep.

This was the first year they used the shotgun and Fitzgerald was hit or miss on his snaps.

And the Vikings had an incredible defensive line.

Yes he was but the strange thing in that game Pearson had not caught a ball all day until the last drive where he caught a 4th down catch for a big gain to mid field then his 2nd catch of the game was of course the Hailmary.

I was like five at the time, but somehow I remember Drew catching that pass. But just as much, I remember the ref laying there after he got hit by that bottle. Guess that made an impression on a little kid.

Spoiler alert:

They didn't show the ref getting hit with the bottle in the replay. I seven at the time and that stuck in my memory as well along with all the garbage they threw into the endzone after the play.
