It depends. If Jones still has it in his head to make Garrett HC, he probably will.

But if he's going another direction and plans on bringing in someone from outside the organization, I'd say he'll just ride out the year with the current staff.

If we're 4-5 going into the bye I do believe there is a far greater shot he'd do it in the middle of the season but for some reason I just think he'll wait till the off season before he makes that sort of change.

If he wants Garrett, I can't see him doing it with no real DC in place. I don't think Garrett could succeed in that situation.

The best bet would be to wait til the offseason and give it to Garrett and let him go out and get his own DC.

I am hoping for Rivera personally. I liked him 2 years ago and Chicago's defense has not been the same without him. The players in Chicago really respected the guy. Spencer was a DE in College and Ware would be a great everydown DE and Ellis is the 3rd. Tank, Ratliff and Spears inside (Tank was best in a 4-3 anyway0.
